Ha, this meme really resonates. Late last night we found out that the Teacher's Union lost the emergency court case that they filed to stay remote, so everyone needs to continue to teach in person in the buildings. Can I just say again how glad I am that I am not a principal anymore?

But forget the work stress--I have lots of good news today. First, I got my negative COVID results yesterday afternoon. I guess it's just a nasty cold. Yay (!?). And yesterday I finally had enough energy to swap out my clothes to the fall/winter season, and I decided to do it "Home Edit" style. I know it's not Friday but I have to share my closet pics today. I am so happy! I wish I had taken a before pic, but this would have been a great "how it started, how it's going" pic for Photo Friday. But I do have a few good other ones done already--can't wait to see yours!

Back at the beginning of the lockdown, when meat was in shortage, we bought some extra stuff and stored it in the extra freezers in Grim's empty triple decker. But now that the house is officially on the market, he brought it all home and I have a ton of chicken that is thawing today and needs to be cooked ASAP. Anyone have good Instant Pot Chicken Recipes to share?

QOTD: Back when the world was open, where was your favorite place to "people watch"? I love going to Harvard Square in Cambridge. All kinds of people are in the area--lots of students obviously, but it also attracts old hippies, musicians, artists, business people, commuters, and tourists. Its a cross section of the whole world in one convenient spot, and it's so fun to get a cup of coffee outside and watch the world go by. I miss that.

Food was okay again yesterday. Stuck 100% to the menu, but added a few of those damn Kit Kats, again.

Good morning all! Slept like a baby last night. Had a nasty headache last night so I took one of my migraine pills which helped tremendously and I have a feeling that's what helped me to sleep so well. I'm just left groggy this morning. Accountability was pretty good yesterday. Stuck to plan and didn't go over my calories. Yay! Hopefully I can manage to do it again today.

QOTD: Probably any of the local malls around here. I could sit for hours and jus****ch the people go by. I remember as a kid, my dad, brother and I sitting in the mall people watching while mom shopped. Fun times. Lol

I got some good news, they won the appeal and I'll be having an cortisone injection tomorrow morning. Hoping and praying that it helps!
