What's on your Wednesday Menu?
G'morning everybody!
JB, my husband sent this meme to me yesterday, rebated to your meme. I thought it was funny.
Yesterday I mailed the Halloween care packages to the kids. I wanted them to get the boxes before Halloween because the care packages have some decoration items too, so they can decorate their room. I'll share the pics on Fri, although now that we have a theme for Fri pic don't know how it's gonna fit in. I was very happy with how the boxes turned out.
On election news I followed my ballot online, it was received and accepted so now I can breathe easily; I did my civic duty.
QOTD: lots of paprika or cayenne pepper, italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder.
My meals yesterday:
- B: protein coffee
- L: Costco egg bites
- S:hb egg
- D:grilled chicken+ spinach salad
- E: 4.5 miles jog

QOTD - I use all the normal, salt, pepper, garlic, etc. I will say the most recent additions to my cooking (vegan stuff) has been nutritional yeast, and black salt. The black salt, added to liquid aminos with a little water, and then soaking a pressed tofu patty in it...the tofu tastes JUST like eggie! It's a game changer for when I want a breakfast sammich.
Breakfast - fasting, so hot black coffee and water
Lunch - not sure - will update after team decides where we are eating
Snack - Pumpkin seeds and an apple
Dinner - NO idea, but I am not cooking, LOL!
I will need to update my foods later when I have a clearer plan. I didn't plan anything today. Back at work (in office) for the rest of the week.

Good morning, everybody!
The most important thing that I have to do today is to remember to pick up my son after PSAT's at 10:20. I haven't picked up anybody from anywhere for eight months and I haven't even been to the school since my older son's drive through diploma pick-up in May. But mainly, I just need to stay awake and remember to go.
Next week, he starts back to school, in-person on Tuesday. He will go twice a week. I guess that they are not going to have finals because with the twice a week schedule, it would take three weeks (although by my math it would take two weeks). At my son's college, COVID cases have increased and one of the floors very close to him is on quarantine. We are planning to go to Colorado to visit him next week and are hoping that the quarantine does not spread.
QOTD: Salt and pepper mostly.
Breakfast: Protein bar
Lunch: leftover Thai food
Snack: nuts
Dinner: Hello Fresh

Everyone here is blaming our spike on the college kids but they are not the only problems. We have a statewide indoors mask mandate so I don't see a lot of people without masks but many don't wear them correctly, I hear lots of big group gatherings, etc. it's frustrating.
