Hi Team, Hope everyone had a nice long weekend. I can't decide if I am going to "go" to work or take a sick day today. I was super sick all weekend with a cough, fever and double pink eye! Yuck! I went to a clinic on Saturday for a covid test, and I am still waiting for the results. But I woke up feeling a lot better today so I hope this is all winding down. I seriously doubt it my test will be positive because I never go anywhere, but since we had met with the realtor last week, it seemed like the responsible thing to do.

On the plus side, the house went on the market yesterday! It's listed perfectly with gorgeous pics and an awesome 3D tour! They might so a mid-week open house, and another one this weekend.

QOTD: What commercial drives you crazy? I watched so much tv this weekend, and I was SO annoyed by both sides of a political ad for a Ballot Question in MA. It just makes me so mad that everyone is trying to scare suburban women! Gah--I am not falling for it, you jerks.

I am not ready to post a menu yet. I definitely had more comfort carbs than I should have while recovering this weekend, but all in all I didn't eat much. If all goes well my plan will be eggs for breakfast, a turkey wrap for lunch, and chicken for dinner.

I vote sick day! Relax and recover, people try to push themselves too hard and take longer to get back to full health.

QOTD - I can't think of a current commercial!

I have a 3/4 work day today, lunch with my dad and step mom, a virtual author lecture at 5 (Rebecca Roanhorse, new book out called Black Sun, everything she writes has been amazing), and then I'm doing back to back pilates classes....and depending on how long lunch is, I might run to the Tattered Cover which is one of the best bookstores and treat myself to some new books. It is new release Tuesday!

b - choc-pumpkin muffin

s - cold brew skyr

I think they most put a decent amount of PB in the PB one, it is very filling to me. My fav is the salted caramel.

Morning! It sounds like you need another day on the couch. Sadly, there's still all those normal germs out there too! Although, I have declared that we all get to skip flu season this year. We've been through enough, it's canceled right? (No worries, I got my flu shot).

We're currently at the beach and it's wonderful! We arrived in torrential rain on Sunday, but yesterday was beautiful and 80+ degrees. The kids had off school so they were able to enjoy the beach and pool. Today they will be back to doing school work, but it will be a nicer back drop when they're done! We packed a ton of groceries and the only take-out we're planning is a seafood boil from the local fish market.

QOTD: I don'****ch anything that actually has commercials. We just got access to Hulu because of upgrading our Verizon service and getting it for free. But, I haven't yet chosen to watch anything on it. We got rid of cable when my 14 year old was about 6 months old. I remember the first time she saw a commercial during a movie in a hotel room and she was so confused. She kept asking why they were ending the movie, lol.

My Food:

  • Coffee w/ Cream - quite a lot of it
  • English Muffin w/ Turkey, Pepperoni, Cheese & Mayo
  • Smoked Chicken Fajitas w/ Guac
