What's on your Monday menu RNY? and some VSG'rs
So the recipe I followed had 3 eggs, 3 bananas, 1 cup of kodiak and it would give me 12 muffins.
WW 1 pt per muffin.
When I used the chocolate kodiak with the above recipe it was 60 cals, 9 carbs, 3 protein per muffin.
When I used the cinnamon oat kodiak it was 93 cals, 14.6 carbs, 5.5 protein.
When I subbed the 3 bananas with 1/2 can pumpkin, and the cinnamon oat Kodiak, it gave me 10 muffins (vs the usual 12), 99 cals, 13.5 carbs, 6.7 protein.

Good morning. What a beautiful weekend here in San Diego. Now this is what we pay these ridiculous prices for! I had a pretty good weekend accountability wise and did get in a 8.5 mile bike ride and a short stretching session of yoga. Food has been choppy, since I'm reduced to digging through the freezer bin and back of the pantry, but I'm doing ok. Really need to get a grocery list/menu together for the week. Zero desire to do so.
QOTD: never have tried pick up or delivery groceries
B: chicken bites, 1/4 cup cottage cheese, everything but the bagel spice
L: left over fish tacos I made for dinner last night, no tortilla, but I do have a bit of Quest loaded taco chips to go with it.
D: seasoned tri tip, elote corn and some carb for the hubs.
Peace everyone!

Mornin'!
it's supposed to rain off and on all day, so I decided to do one of the Zoom classes my gym is doing - first time I've done one of theirs. It's call Strength Fusion and a mix of cardio and strength - so this should be good. I hope so, anyway! I have a committee meeting this afternoon (also on Zoom), but that's it for today. This'll be kind of a slow week, so hopefully I'll get to some items on my "to do" list that I haven't gotten around to in awhile.
QOTD: I just go to the store. I'm one of those who goes two or three times a week to pick up a few items at a time, so I'm rarely in there for more than ten minutes or so. Masks are required in my county and people are pretty compliant around here, so I don't really worry about it. When the pandemic first started I freaked out every time someone walked by me at the store, but now that we know more about viral loads and such, I'm more comfortable with it. The virus is raging out of control in some parts of Wisconsin, though (esp up in the northern part), so I don't know how comfortable I'd be up there, though...
TSS: 5y4m
B: half a jumbo protein pumpkin muffin and a thing of Carbmaster cinnamon yogurt, coffee with half & half
MS: Fit Frappe
L: 1 C cottage cheese - maybe a piece of fruit
AS: L&F yogurt with raspberries, skinny bagel with light cream cheese
D: turkey breast slices with some leftover eggplant tagine
have a great day, everyone!
Good morning, everybody!
I think that I locked our cleaning lady out last night. When she came this morning, she couldn't get in and couldn't wake anybody up to let her in. I feel badly to have wasted her morning on making a trip over here.
The intimidation plan from Friday did not work. Although they were pleased with how sharp they looked in matching bags and outfits, the opponents did not buy it and won in consecutive sets.
Its kind of a dark cloudy morning, Marilyn is at tennis and I don't have any calls until 12:00, so I am actually thinking of going back to bed (or couch).
Safe travels, Liz.
QOTD: We shop in person for the most part. But we do get Hello Fresh delivered between 2-3 times a week.
How come when you reach a certain age you start attaching "The" to the name of your grocery store? I'm going to The Jewel. Or when we lived in Boston "I'm going to The STAH Marhhket" Nobody says I'm going to the Home Depot. I wonder if people who shop in the Hypercenters for groceries call it the Walmart or the Target.
Breakfast: protein bar
Lunch: Hamburger
snack: nuts
Dinner: Cod
Have a great day, all!

That gave me a chuckle. We always go to "the thrift store" even though it has a name other than that. I do it for others too. LOL
