What's on your Monday menu RNY? and some VSG'rs
JB must be off gallivanting or deep under cover with work so I will kick it off.
Weekend went well stayed very reasonable with food, really no scale change since last weeks weigh in but I did workout for a long time yesterday which usually produces no drop or an increase so maybe staying the same is a sign it is about to drop.
QOTD: Do you do online grocery delivery or pickup or in store shopping? I'm a mix of both, some stores I prefer to just drive up, some I walk because they don't have a good online option. Publix uses instacart and it jacks up the item price so I would go in for that. Kroger for me is better to use their app and then I can match my coupons to the item on the app. super easy. Walmart I like the pickup also except they tend to be out of stock on a lot of items.
food plan today:
B: coffee /egg/36 cal bread
b2: shake?
l: chicken, spag squash, marinara sauce
l2: no idea
d: thinking some shrimp 'eggrolls' in the air fryer?
s: probably oats/egg whites
I used Instacart, and a few other delivery and pickup options from March until June. COVID cases went down this summer and I started going to the stores with a mask just to get out of the house and add a little bit of exercise.
But last week, we went back into the red zone and I am back to pickup and delivery. Yesterday, I had an order to pickup from Walmart. I got there at 6:00 PM, my timeslot. The pickup area was full and it was 30 minutes before I got my groceries brought out to the car. They had their pickup phone number going to a voicemail with a full mailbox.
I finally called customer service and got a person and they got the carryout people to bring out my groceries. All of the other cars were still there waiting for 30 minutes.
JB was sick yesterday with a bad cough. Hope things are better for her today.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Good morning! I am off to Florida with Mike and Justice in just under an hour. First stop is Cape May NJ. I am excited, nervous and exhausted (in bed for 9 hours, but only got 3 hours of sleep).
QOTD: I do my own shopping and use the self checkout. I have always done it and with Covid I personally feel more comfortable not having a stranger (or multiple strangers) touching my stuff.
TSS: 4 years, 6 months
B: Coffee!!! Steel cut oats with PB2
L: Nut thins and cottage cheese ???
D: out somewhere - probably fish
S: Almonds or nut thins and cottage cheese (if not used for lunch)

Safe travels and be carefuL in FL. They are saying it will be a hot spot in 6-8 weeks because they relaxed the rules at bars and restaurants.
