What's on your Sunday menu?
Morning all! Yesterday was horrible food plan wise. It was one of those days where if it was available I ate it and just completely gave up on counting calories. Sigh.... don't know why I still do this to myself. Haven't had one of those days in awhile. Today I'm up almost a pound and not happy about it, but I have no one to blame but myself. Today will be better, but it's getting so darn hard to stay in control. I normally drop weight like crazy right after my period, but even that doesn't happen anymore. I do worry about regain which is why I'm trying to lose as much as possible, but it's soooo tough right now and with the holidays quickly approaching well I worry about that as well.
QOTD: Oh Julia Child....my mom loved watching her. I'd probably choose her too since I don't really have a favorite. Or I'd choose my grandmother....even though she wasn't famous, her cooking was. Lol She passed when I was 6 so I don't remember too much about her, but I do remember her always being in the kitchen cooking or baking. Sunday dinners were always at her house and I remember there always being way too much food!

I've seen him on master chef junior and a few other things and I think the Hell's Kitchen persona is for show. If I didn't, I would go with my second choice of Hugh Acheson. I love him on top chef

Good day. I missed yesterday, somewhat just doing my curmudgeon hermit thing, just out of sorts.
QOTD: Never been much of a foody, so no chef names come to mind. Sharing a meal with folks, though, I can think of several: Carl Sagan, Benjamin Franklin, Leonardo Da Vinci, Alexander Hamilton, Aristotle.
B: skipped.
L: couple bites of chicken
D: skipped.
S: None (different than skipped as I don't do snacks).

Celebrity chef ? Def Martha Stewart ....who's a much cooler chick and interesting person than my second choice Bobby Flay. I like the undefeatable Masuhiro too ( I watch Kitchen Stadium CONSTANTLY when I have tv service lol) but I fear him :)
b- egg sandwich from bagel place - 2 eggs over easy on toasted roll ketchup and hot sauce
l- Candy and coffee ( don't ask) - day was spent walking flea market s antique stores estate sales and the beach with someone who smokes, not eats
d- ex bought me dinner at the excellent Oconnee diner ( the best ( and most expensive) place around here) ( yum!) Shrimp and Scallops Santorini no oil- Greek salad , rice , rice pudding w whipped cream
popcorn w raisins tea
Walked to beach 12 step meeting - ex showed up afterwards in to glare at the guys in his giant truck ( he's like a junkyard dog that doesn't want the bone but can't stand another dog having it lol ) so I spent the day with him antiquing, beach walking, flea marketing and at yard sales ( Im telling you Long Island is HOPPING ... luckily no-one seems to be sneezing ) trying to explain being affectionate friends going forwards ... does not compute . Since then he's Still showing up every morning grrr.... fresh and warm as a biscuit from his live in girlfriend's bed... GRRR
