What's on your Sunday menu?

Good morning everyone!

it ended up being an ok day yesterday for the most part. My pain level was at an 11 but still got some stuff done. My cousin took a lot of stuff out of the shed which was a relief but it was also 93 yesterday so it was very hot in the shed.

My brother and his family are coming over for breakfast and lunch. The kids wanted donuts and they wanted to share with us so breakfast it is. I won't be having a donut but it should be fun.

QOTD: if you could have dinner with any celebrity chef, living or not, who would it be?

mine would be Julia Child! She was so darned interesting. Not just due to food but with her life story I think she would of been a wonderful choice!

b: egg, turkey sausage and daiya cheese...coffee

I have to stow away all the outdoor furniture today in preparation for leaving with Mike for Florida tomorrow. I can't believe it is time to go already. Sort of an adventure coming up doing this drive with my new guy.

QOTD: I don't pay much attention to any of the celebrity chefs though I think you are right that Julia Child would be a hoot to meet. Since DS is a chef I leave it to him to research chefs, though I do enjoy having dinner with DS (he is a celebrity in my house at least).

Yes, we will go to MIke's place on the east coast of Florida before mine (on the west coast).

This has been more fun for me than reading a romance novel. I am so happy for you and Mike.

Although she is a baker and not a chef, I would love to have lunch with Mary Berry from the Great British Baking Show. I know she had polio as a child which left her with a damaged spine and weak left hand. She did not do well in academic studies, but loved domestic science.

She got a job with an electric company in England and showed housewives how to use the new invention of an electric oven. She wrote cookbooks and had her own cooking shows before becoming a judge on Great British Baking Show. She is always so pleasant and dressed in such pretty outfits.
