Husband took me off his insurance!!!!!

Obviously the decision is yours but if your husband is that controlling do you really think that you will be successful staying married to him? And if you're successful in losing weight even without the surgery, do you thing he'll be happy about it? Sounds to me that he wants you to stay overweight. Having had the surgery myself and having learned to value myself I have gained so much strength, which some call selfishness, but I call it knowing my self worth and having the ability to assert myself and say 'no' when I need to. If I had a husband like yours I'd change the locks and throw his ass to the curb. Best of luck on your journey.

I would be mad too! I don't think I could forgive such a thoughtless action. After all, there's more to health insurance than weight loss surgery!

First off let me say I'm sorry. I hear what the others are saying but really.... F-him, I would kick his ass to the curb faster then his head could turn. That was just so disrespectful and there is NO excuse for his behavior. Id say you have a lot to think about, if he is acting like that now how will he treat you once you do have the surgery. Does he not realize that you are doing this for your health??? Is he over weight, he might think you will be Mrs. Sexy and leave his ass. I wish you the best. If you are going to get through this I would suggest the both of you talking to someone bc clearly he has some issues. No husband that loves his wife and worships the ground she walks on and would do anything for you, would do something that cruel.
