What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
Stay there as long as possible. One of my neighbors had a beautiful home and was still living there when she passed away at 100. My husband had made the sunroom into his photo gallery. He took tons of old photos from boxes and albums, arranged them in frames and hung them in the sunroom. When I sold that house, I just put them all into bins and now they live in my basement, because there is no place to hang them in this house.

Your sunroom is gorgeous! Magazine worthy!

Good morning!
QOTD - I live in a 100 year old stone house, with no heat. Thankfully, it's South Texas so our winters are kind of mild. However, we do use space heaters, dress really warmly (think of me in onesies and a housecoat), and do lots of baking!
Breakfast - fasting so hot black coffee, water
Lunch - Tofu egg patty (homemade) on toast with avocado butter, w/vegan chao tomato cayenne cheese
Snack - yogurt with chia seeds
Snack - apple with peanut butter
Dinner - Salad, stuffing, and a veggie (for me and daughter), add rotisserie chicken for hubs and son.
Happy Friday, have a good one everyone!

I have lived my whole life in Ohio and not having central heating would be really hard here. I have been in homes that heated with just wood fireplaces. They bring in enormous logs and burn them all winter.
I was visiting my brother once. He lives south of Dallas. When I left the airport in Cleveland, they were having problems keeping the snow plowed enough for the planes to take off and land. The snow was three feet high in my yard.
It was February. One day in Texas, it got up to 86 and the heat was really bothering me. I mentioned that to my boyfriend when I called him that night. He said, "Don't say one word about heat to me, I just spent eight hours working outside and it is 4 degrees here".
So I went to the backyard, took a picture of the thermometer and texted it to him. He replied, "Smart aleck".

When we bought the house, it was October 2017. Still hot weather. The first winter, I nearly froze! I run cold anyway. Anyhow, we have learned to adapt. I do envision a time when we have the house outfitted with a central air/heat system, but we will have to get creative. Although we are on pier and beam, there's literally no crawlspace. And the house can't be "cut into" because it's stone. My MIL has said "we have options!". She's big into doing things that are done in older homes in Europe. She is also the genius who convinced us to get a tankless water heater and it's been the best investment since moving in. She knows houses, and I am sooo glad!
