I need a service burrito! I hope you can somehow manage to make it through this day. on a lighter note, maybe the high needs students will have somewhat of a breakfast club experience...In all seriousness, I hope that this is resolved quickly and that you can have a peaceful day!

Good morning, everybody!

No more stalling, I'm caught up.

Wednesday - Captain Crunch. Although, like many, we rarely ate sugar cereal as kids. I am sure I made up for that by eating a battleship full in college. If only our parents knew that "non-sugar cereal" was still almost 100% sugar. And skim milk was basically Kool Aid.

Thursday - I used a pumpkin emoji last Halloween, placing me solidly ahead of Karen. If I had the ability, I would send her an emoji today, just to double my lead.

Melody - great ring and photo's

Chrissy, great job fishing and love the shawl.

Friday - The Rancourt Porter Espresso boots in my closet may be a contender. Although they are beautiful and came with free drink coasters.

Great Meme, JB and your hair looks great. Madison Rose fantastic photo - so proud of you, kid.

Stacy, that is the cutest dog ever.

Not from last week, but great to hear that Kelly had a positive start to her new job!

QOTD: I really liked my high school accounting teacher. College, I don't remember any specific teacher.

Breakfast: protein bar

Lunch: Mahi Mahi burger sandwich

Snack: nuts

Dinner: TBD

Have a great day, all!

I actually did think about whether I could get you an interview, but we are too big to do payroll for clients and aren't hiring on the administrative side.

Good morning everyone. I actually slept well last night. I didn't wake up until the alarm went off at 5 a.m.

I feel for our teachers and administrators. Our school is going to in person on Monday, K-5 and then they will gradually add more grades. We have had 65 cases of Covid in our County, with 1 active case currently.

I am going to try and be brave today and paint my potting shed. There are always snakes out there in that part of the yard. I am terrified of them. I know that they won't hurt me, they just freak me out!

I had another good food day yesterday. I am not going to weigh until Monday. I feel good!

QOTD- I had the best teachers in school! I had a bad home life and I think they knew. In my high school years, I was in foster care. I had many take me under their wing and advocate for me. I was a good kid and a great student. My all time favorite teacher was Mrs. Doucette. She was my Home Ec teacher. I was her T.A. also.

Food Plan for today-

1 c. black coffee with miralax, then lots of hot tea

2 eggs with 1/2 c. cottage cheese

Real Good stuffed chicken breast minus the bacon. ( our Costco has a 6 pk of these for $12.99)

Taco omelet ( its the last of the taco meat)

boiled egg or chomps if needed

Have a great day everyone! Be kind to yourself.

JB, you have the most interesting QOTD's

Miss Partridge was tall, skinny, in her 50's and lived with her mother in an old mansion in the rich part of Warren. She always wore her hair in a finger wave. I thought she looked like Olive Oyl.

Back then you were put into groups based on your score on an IQ test. They were called tracks and there were five tracks.

Miss Partridge taught English and History to Track 1. She told us at the beginning of the year that nothing in her history classes would have anything to do with the book. But the tests every six week would be from the book and we had to know the material.

But her classes had to do with the history that was not in the book. She would discuss things like the atrocities of the NAZI doctors. At the time, that was not talked about. She told us real stories about slavery, Native Americans, poverty, concentration camps, dictators, and political scandals.

One of the things that she told us was not to marry each other. She was convinced that two people with high IQ's would likely have "feeble-minded" children. She always talked about Pearl Buck, a writer whose only child was severely disabled. That is not true, but Miss Partridge believed that nature corrected itself and started over at the bottom.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
