Another super late post for me, but keeping the streak alive! A friend was just diagnosed with breast cancer and she asked me to go to the oncologist with her because she knew it would be too much info to absorb. So that was this morning. On the way there, my brakes started making a bad noise, so I went straight to the mechanic after leaving her at home. So much for a full day of work.

QOTD: The Great British Baking Show makes me smile. I'll even re-watch episodes if I'm in a horrible mood!

My Plan:

B: Coffee (her appt was very early)

L: No idea

D: Steak and broccoli salad

E: Supposed to outdoor spin but don't know if my car will be ready in time

I watched it twice this week also. It is a great stress reliever.

You are a great friend for going to the doctor with her. It is so much better when there are two people to listen to what is said. I am so happy that the Great British Baking Show is on now. Makes Friday something special to look forward to.

Hope the car is fixed. Brake problems are scary to me. I take it to repair at the first sign of any problem.

My allergies have been kicking my arse these past two weeks. I am trying a different pill in hopes that it will help stop this runny nose/sneezing.

We have taken out from restaurants but we ordered online first... and it seems like each time SOMETHING was wrong with it, kinda made me not want to even put for the effort and just keep to home made stuff.

Down to 173.9 this morning. So, I will keep to whatever I'm doing. I find myself inhaling and exhaling for a short while, long winded breathes when I feel like I want something "other than" protein.

Breakfast: Unjury Chocolate Splendor Protein Powder, 2/3 C Fairlife FF milk, 1 hard boiled egg and 1/4 tsp Mayo (240 cal, 35g protein, 8.5g carbs)

Snack: Oikos Triple Zero Yogurt- Lemon Tart (10g carbs, 90 Calories, 15g Protein)

Lunch: 2 slices Oven Roasted Turkey Breast, 1 Crepini, .5 oz shredded Cheese, 1/2 TBS Mayo, 2oz diced ham, 1/4 cup English cucumber (273 Calories, 25.5 g protein, 6g Carbs)

Dinner: 3 oz Green Beans, Unjury Chocolate Splendor Protein (7.9 carbs, 152 cal, 29.5g protein)

I was thinking lately on the menu that I eat now, I would be losing a pound a day before surgery. Now I eat such low calorie, small, healthy foods, and my weight stays disgustingly the same.

I used to eat restaurant food almost every day. I got so tired of things not tasting right and started cooking at home about six years ago. Now I almost never eat at a restaurant.

I only it do for get togethers with friends and that has not been happening anymore with the virus. One of the last places we went had a steak salad that I really enjoyed. I ordered it from their website and went and picked it up. It was the same, but I guess tasted better when I had my friends with me. I won't get it again.

I woke up with sinus today and took a Claritin. It helped a lot. My doctor told me I can take one everyday if I need to. I used to let sinus go until I was totally miserable and then had to find a doctor. Now I really try to catch it immediately.

Hi everyone! Not sure who will see this but wanted to at least make a quick post. First day of the new job DONE. It was fabulous but I'm so tired. I didn't have time to even check my phone, let alone post. I even had lunch out with my team, it was the first time for me since Covid, luckily the restaurant was following all protocols. I am hoping to have a better schedule tomorrow and will have time to post. THANK YOU ALL FOR THE WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT AND SUPPORT IN THE THREAD YESTERDAY!

I don't have totals plugged in yet but this was my meals for the day.

Coffee, boiled eggs and apricot

cobb salad

yogurt, plum and string cheese

Turkey, cauliflower, apple, banana

Yogurt with fiber cereal

Water and vits done

run and elliptical this morning.

I hope you all had a great day.
