What's on your Wednesday Menu?
Good morning, everybody!
I must be honest, I still have not caught up on last week's posts. Hopefully, I can do so today. This isn't a particularly busy time of the year at work so I don't have that excuse. But the days just fill up one day at a time.
When we were in Oregon, we drank this wine called Flaneur, and what it referred to was taking life at the pace of a turtle so that you can notice everything around you. Marilyn said that would actually be an acceleration of pace from me from where I am now and she was worried that I would slow from turtle to snail. So maybe that's why I am not caught up yet.
This didn't get much news coverage, but Toots Hibbert died a couple of weeks ago. If you don't know who that is google "Pomp and Pride" and dance around your living room for 5 minutes. It should make you smile.
QOTD: The opening chords of China Cat Sunflower.
Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese
Snack: protein bar
Lunch: hamburger
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!

Good Morning JB and Menuers,
Yesterday was a really quiet day at work It's about time!!!!!
I have never been to the Cheesecake factory so I do not know what there menu looks like. Plus everyone says my cheesecakes are way better. With that said I did an Aldi run this morning because I hear there is a shortage on pumpkin this year so I grabbed 10 cans so I can have enough for cheesecakes this season. While I was there I got a happy find. DH has always asked about Venous Fly Traps and they had a special buy on them for $4.99 so I will surprise him tonight when I get home.

It's Pittsburgh most everything has to come in doors for the winter or it has to be cut back so nothing is above ground. I have not read much about nurturing it yet so it's up in the air of what he will do with it. He loves little projects like this give him something to do.

G'morning everybody!
Oh wow, I miss Cheesecake Factory! Haven't been there, I think, since WLS.
Have you guys heard of this mirror workout? Do you have it or know somebody who has it? I'm considering it but not sure yet. My gym closed down back in March and hasn't opened yet, but I'm still paying $30 a month to be an inactive member because of the hefty initiation fee. This mirror subscription, aside from the initial purchase price, is about $40 a month. Is it worth it? Something else to consider is that I am still using my trainer remotely. She sends me weekly routines with videos if I need more explanation. So should I just cancel the membership and stick with my trainer or cancel membership, get the mirror and keep trainer. I don't wanna get rid of my trainer, she has been through thick and thin with me for the last 10 years.
Food item find: have you tried the folio cheese wrap? I finally found the Parmesan one. It's good but IMO not worth the 180 cals. My lunch yesterday ended up being 446 cals because of the wrap. Good thing there are only 4 of them in there. I prefer my jicama wraps better.
QOTD: I guess it's a trend with pets. My Luna always makes me smile. She is cuddly, loyal and so smart. When we are on our walks the way she runs to me with her hair flying away from her makes me smile big.
My meals yesterday:
- B: coffee + barebells bar (my absolute favorite bar)
- L: folio cheese wrap + pulled pork
- S:fage yogurt + 30 dark choc chips
- D:taco Tuesday with jicama wrap for taco shells
- E: 4.5 miles jog
Happy hump day, everybody.
