Love that pic and I am glad he replied so you at least know how he's feeling.

So glad DS reached out. I hope that is easing your concerns.

My DH would plagiarize stuff from the internet when he would send something. One day I googled it and busted him.

However I forgive him now because of his crocheting skills. he made me fingerless glove to match the shawl and hat.

I hated writing poetry in high school because of all the rules my English teacher had. It felt very mechanical. Later on I found out about free form poetry and came to enjoy that. I tend to write poems at very emotional times in my life.

At one point I was submitting them to "online poetry contests". I would get a letter telling me that I won and an opportunity to buy the book of poems where they would publish my work. I realized it was just a trick to sell books and never purchased one

I had a day yesterday....ALL DAY on the Phone and emails. ugh. I am dating myself but there used to be a Sunday Night show called - The World of Sports and the opening was a skier on s ski jump- "The thrill of Victory -The agony of defeat" and the skier takes a dive and face plant coming off the jump. Ha. Well that was how I felt yesterday.

Feeling Victory: Sunday night my offer got accepted on a Home in Hudson, FL. Yay! So I am no longer worried about being a vagabond. Really pretty, backs up to a golf course and a beautiful screened in lanai. 7 minutes from the beach. Woop!

Feeling Defeated: I have open permits and need COs for a few things. I had done everything to code and had inspections at the time, contractor just never went for final paperwork. Opened pandora's box, they want more permits for things like my deck is 4" too high. ugh. Lost my paperwork, now saying 4-6 weeks to even evaluate my paperwork due to Covid let alone inspect. I contacted my local Town councilwoman's office yesterday. We will see. I believe there is a way to close even if paperwork not complete, but it makes it very messy. Not first choice.

QOTD: I do not remember, probably the last time I was tutoring English a few years ago. I always loved a Haiku...

Food:

  • Pumpkin muffin, yogurt
  • egg whites, veggies
  • Salad, chicken, tomato soup
  • S: oatmeal, protein

Ex: Already did an online class, and have a short lifting program scheduled

Are the pending permits for the house you are selling in NY? Hate the feeling of so many balls in the air. I hope all resolves fast and to your satisfaction.
