What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Mornin' Everyone!
I have three online classes today (the two I'm auditing through the university, plus the one on the election I'm taking through my adult education organization), and I have to take my mother to a doctor's appt this afternoon. Plus I should get out and get some exercise today, too. So...busy day for a retiree!

B: homemade pumpkin yogurt with 2 T light Cool Whip and 1/4 C high fiber cereal, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: tomato sandwich and turkey breast slices
AS: Greek yogurt with raspberries, skinny bagel with light cream cheese
D: steak with some kind of vegetables

QOTD - Last time would have been for my husband, last year when he was having a rough patch.
Breakfast - fasting so hot coffee, water
Lunch - fresh tofu/kale/soyrizo scramble I made this morning, with some vegan garlic naan, with vegan chao tomato cayenne cheese. It's SO good, feels decadent.
Snack - sliced celery, sliced bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, with hummus, crackers, vegan cream cheese
Snack - yogurt with chia seeds
Snack - 1/2 bagel with peanut butter
Dinner - sandwich, vegan chao cheese, lettuce, tomato, vegan cream cheese, avocado, pumpkin seeds, hemp seed hearts

JB, did you see the article on the Queen of the Sharks? I watched the twitter video and holy crap, no way I'd be anywhere near a 17 foot shark but it was cool to see.
QOTD - I don't think I've every written a poem or at least not one that wasn't required by classwork.
I have got so much to get done this week for work, it's a bit overwhelming because this is just the "pre work" for a 27 month project that will start either December or January so I've got to figure out a balanced work plan now. I'm working on it. Today my control is to be off line except for during meetings so I can try to get stuff done. I"m also have been slacking at exercise not part of my pilates classes so I'm going back to that too -- dedicated exercise 6 days a week is good for the mind and the body!

I am starting to feel better day by day. I went to the gym and did some light lifting yesterday and don't seem to be any worse for it today. Marilyn says that I have passed having no bum and now have a "negative bum" now, so there is that, though.
We were invited to a Roaring 20's themed Halloween Party. I think that all of the men will wear the gangster attire (huge black striped suits, black shirts, etc.), so I am thinking more along the lines of a Great Gatsby look, like the one on the right:

So my plan for the weekend is to get my costume ordered.
QOTD: I don't think that I have ever wrote a poem. So probably elementary school.
