What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Morning! Yesterday consisted of many meetings and taking the cat to the vet. It turns out that she has a double ear infection that may or may not be contributing to her bad potty behavior. I sure hope it's that. The enzyme cleaner came a day early and I used that last night. So far, it's not 100% dry but I think it worked (at least 90% of the day). I will re-treat if need be, but it's significantly improved so far. We need to figure out what we're going to do while we're gone to the beach. I'm thinking we may put her in the mud room with her food, box, water, and bed. It's not ideal, but better than boarding her and I will need the pet sitter to be able to give her, her ear drops (which means being able to find her! She normally hides).
Today I have PT at 9am and then only a couple of meetings. I need to get the 1st floor cleaned either today or tomorrow because I will be busy all day Thursday and my brother will arrive around dinner time. I also have to finalize my grocery order and prep some food we're going to take with us to the beach.
QOTD: In my first year of college I believe. I did a creative writing class that required poetry. I'm not sure I could even dust off those skills now.

I am glad you found out about the ear infection. Hope the drops work quickly since they can't tell us and will hide pain.
I had a carpet that I thought I would have to replace, but the rug cleaning guy did something that completely removed the cat urine smell. I was actually amazed that it worked.

Well...just got back. I get to have another steroid injection in my back and she thinks the neurosurgeon will want to do an oral pack too. I am so not thrilled over that. I'm really REALLY not thrilled. If Medicaid will approve it it'll be on the 16th.
ugh.

JB- Your morning Meme made me laugh. I read it to my hubby and it made him chuckle too.
Good morning everyone. Yesterday was a great food day. Emotionally not so much! I felt like I was on the verge of crying all day. I don't know if its the low dose birth control pills that I am on. They are supposed to be leveling out my hormones and helping with peri-menopause. I don't think its working. Maybe its just life that has me on edge. I don't know if I should continue the birth control pills. My ovaries ache, I am constantly spotting and my boobs feel like they are going to fall off!
I am going to Home Depot today! That always makes me feel better. I love the smell of the wood and I am always up for a new gadget. I am going to buy paint and re-paint my bedroom. I painted it 6 months ago, but I am just not feeling it anymore. The rain is coming this weekend. I want to put on my comfy old lady sweater, make a pot of tea and listen to some 80's music and paint.
QOTD- I have not written a poem forever. I do randomly sing and can make a song out of anything.
Food for today-
Eggs and cottage cheese
Stuffed chicken breast ( I baked and extra yesterday and I like to eat them cold with mustard)
Something with taco meat. Maybe a taco omelet.
chomps or boiled egg if needed.
Lots of water and vitamins always. I am going to choose joy today!!
