It DOES seem like poetic justice doesn't it ? ( and I can say that ... albeit reluctantly and despite being a lifelong Democrat I AM voting for the dude...my instincts scream not 2 trust the other side )
Moved around a lot this weekend- performed Saturday, explored ( largely deserted) Manhattan and ( busy) Brooklyn mostly by car - looked up and reminisced about so many places I'd lived ( I was allergic to paying rent way back when lol )
Eh- to be young again and have my biggest problems be too much weight and lack of money !
B- Giant sugar free Chai Tea Latte w skim milk , a couple of crusts of fresh bread
Mid morning Snack- Juniper Berry's recipe for Cauliflower Cheese Bites - hacked with Kraft fat free shredded cheddar cheese and Aunt Jemima Buttermilk pancake batter spiked with cajun seasoning instead of bread crumbs. To DIE for !
L- Roast Root Vegetables, Lotus Root, Japanese Eggplant Shrimp and Chicken breast in Goianese Coconut Curry- Low-fat hack- I substitute butter buds, fat free half and half , coconut extract and skim milk powder for the coconut milk.
Snack-baby asparagus tips from Aldis ( I boil the hard stems into my ever present chicken stock pot )
D- probably hacked lower-fat Lobster Bisque with fresh lobster meat added and a lobster roll. Greek salad .
Midnite snack- Molly McButtered salted homemade popcorn of course, with a little fat free cereal and organic raisins added
Walked to and from the meeting this morning - gardening this afternoon. Have a TON of potentially Very Renumerative ( and Deadlined ! )work to do and am very reluctant to start . I'm often my own worst enemy lol...
Hello! Late again, but on to keep my weekday streak. I had to take Logan (the new pup) to the vet for his second round of vaccinations. At his first well puppy check they gave him his kennel cough vaccine and he had an allergic reaction (it was bad and I was afraid he was going to die. About 2 hours after the vaccine, he started to throw up, like 10 times in a row. When I got back to him he was just dry heaving. He had to go to the emergency vet for benadryl and fluids) So anyway, at this appointment they wanted him really early and then to keep him to gauge his reactions. He was completely fine. Although in the 3 weeks I've had him he's gained 9 lbs! My poor puppy (who only eats dog food on a schedule) is going to have to go on a diet. OMG
QOTD: lunch meat roll ups. I keep buying turkey slices and they go bad because I don't eat them fast enough.
My plan:
B: grande skinny latte on the way home from the vet
L: Leftover chinese food (chicken with stringbeans and veggies)
D: spaghetti sauce with meat (heavy on the meat - hamburger and sausage) over zoodles for me
S: something before spin
E: Parking lot spin.
Hi Everyone!
Best of luck to Grim on selling! How exciting!
I haven't posted here in a little bit because I've been ashamed of what I've eaten. and as a result, gained about 10 pounds because of my poor choices.
Trying to get back on track and going back to protein basics for a while.
Breakfast: Sipping Bone Broth/Chicken from Swanson, 3/4 cup of Fairlife Milk + Unjury Chocolate powder (39g protein, 204 Calories, 8.9 Carbs)
Lunch: 3 oz Chicken Breast Canned, 1TBS Sugar Free Italian Dressing from G. Hughes, 1/2 Scrambled Egg and 1/3 slice of Tillamook Medium Cheddar cheese (25g Protein, 189 Calories, .2 Carbs)
Dinner: Not sure yet, The husband will be smoking chicken and veggies... haven't decided
QOTD: Canned Tuna. I had it almost every day and I ended up getting mercury poisoning because of it. I only eat it in a pinch now, but tend to stay away. That was the only fish I would eat.
Really trying to hold myself accountable. Taking deep breaths when I feel like I want to stray from the plan. I have protein powders nearby, but always open for suggestions!
