Good morning - back to reality! I had a good weekend including visits to the grave, my former homes and visiting with my neighbors of 20 years. I feel ready to more or less restart but I ate like I was on vacation all last week, including apple cider donuts from the orchard we visited yesterday after hiking on Mount Wachusett. I decided to wait a day before weighing...
We leave in a week for Florida so it is time to get organized!
QOTD: I got super tired of protein shakes and avoid them like the plague now.
TSS: 4 years, 6 months
B: Coffee!!! WW egg and banana pancake
L: chicken and laughing cow cheese
D: Probably something from the freezer
S: WW banana muffin and/or strawberry cheesecake yogurt pie

How was Town Spa? Also what orchard did you go to?
The pizza was AMAZING! We basically had a picnic in the car since it is takeout only.
We went to Berlin Orchards since it was more or less on the way from Wachusett to route 495. I had never been there before as I generally go to the orchards in central Mass - Stowe or Brookfield.

Ah how funny! My parents live on the same street as Berlin Orchards--just over the line in Clinton. And the Orchard is owned by someone I knew from HS who was a year younger than me! I didn't know her too well, but her older brother was a friend of mine!
Small world!

Good morning everyone.
what a interesting weekend. The news was just odd but I am avoiding it like the plague. My mom watches it and she gets so heated. I wish for her sakes she'd cut down on it. She hates trump. So at least she's no****ching fox news. LOL!
We have the nephew all day today and will be picking up the nieces after school. It should be a rather slow day. My eating has not been great but my weight is going down.

Good morning everyone. I had a wonderful weekend. I went to my daughters early Saturday morning and had a garage sale. I have been cleaning out my basement this summer. Every time, my daughter comes home, we load up her truck and she takes a load home. I have been keeping all the things for the past 25 years that I thought my kids would want/need. We pretty much put everything in her driveway and sat in her yard and gave the stuff away. People were happy. Everyone wore masks and we were far from them. I was thankful to get rid of it and bless others.
I woke up this morning and I am feeling like I am in a funk and sad. I need to get a job! I miss people and having a purpose. My work is still paying me. They have faith that we will re-open and they don't want to lose me. I can't wait forever though. I'm so conflicted.
QOTD- Chicken skewers from Costco. I used to love them! I would eat them with sauteed cabbage and dip them in homemade peanut sauce. The past few times that I have had them, I always get a weird fatty piece.
Food for today-
Eggs and cottage cheese
Tuna with onion, pickle, cottage cheese
Something with Hamburger, maybe zuchinni taco boats?
Lots of water and vitamins always. Have a great day everyone.
I kind of understand what you're going through. I was down about the pandemic over the weekend, too. DH asked me what I'd be doing differently if it weren't for the pandemic. I'm guessing not much (other than meeting up with friends for coffee/lunch INSIDE (luckily we've been able to do it OUTSIDE over the summer - but not for much longer....). I would still be taking classes, still be going to meetings and programs and lectures - things I've continued to do throughout COVID, but the big difference is, I'd actually be going to them IN PERSON and interacting with other people IN REAL LIFE! Zoom has been great - it's so nice to still be able to take classes and listen to lectures and have meetings, but still, it'd be much nicer to actually be able to go to these things in person. If nothing else, it'd get me out of the house almost every day. As it is, there are days I never leave my house...
Here here Sista. I am not a touchy feely kind of person but I truly miss the Hug. Don't worry DH gives me plenty but to kiss a friend and hug them is so missed in my life. I want my hugs back.
