What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu? Menu?

When I had my ( eventually 26 year old- yep you read it right) neutered Persian male kitty ... I had a housemate who sold extremely expensive vitamins from the West Coast- mostly liquid stuff based of fresh plant enzymes ( everything was refrigerated after opening) .
The stuff was AMAZING but too expensive for me to sustain taking.
I bought a bottle of anti-arthritis drops from him to put into the cats water ( he liked the taste - drank it right up) . Cost 60 bux.
I kid you not, that old kitty ( 15 plus years too) was jumping, playing and tearing around the very next day like a kitten! Obviously his hip pain had abated ( before he had a hard time walking up a steep long staircase to my bedroom)
I wish I remembered the brand- but I HAVE seen cat arthritis drops in Petsmart or Pet Depot since . They sure work :)
I walked an extra half hour before the beach meeting today and walked there n back, doing some pushups , stretching and a few yoga poses along the way. Oh and I swung on a swingset which was fun :)
Chai tea latte, rotisserie chicken breast and a couple of slices of fresh baked olive ciabatta bread for breakfast. And a 90 calorie sugar free mint chocolate chip frozen bar I just had to try ( really good) .
Planning to make fresh roasted pumpkin/chicken soup out of the chicken carcass for lunch using a small heirloom squash.
Dinner - probably more beef brisket and some kind of salad, maybe fat free homemade Cole slaw . Bedtime snack- popcorn of course ( I'm loving the new movie style popcorn maker I bought from Walmart for 29.99 - it toasts the corn as it pops giving a nutty, sweet kettle corn flavor -outstanding :) )
Its a cold rainy day so I'll do some kind of baking - I'm loving farro as an ingredient these days ( an ancient high-protein form of wheat used by the Romans :))
It has a nutty taste and gives an amazing nutritious and tasty mouthfeel mixed into a traditional muffin or quick loaf mix. Last time I made banana and pumpkin breads with the actual vegetables, organic farro flour baking mix and a bit of regular commercial muffin mix, some stevia and butter buds and extra spices- So yummy !
I'm also planning to experiment with fat free eggnog ( remember the good old days when you could buy it in the store ? ) . Mine will be healthier and lighter - stevia sweetened instead of sugar and rum flavored rather than diluted with rum lol
Usually after I bake , I slice the leftovers up and freeze them in single serving sizes . This way when I crave something sweet ( usually when my blood sugar flags late in the afternoon) the healthy low sugar low fat alternative is right there a few seconds microwaving away .
Good Morning and Happy Fri-yay! Thank you all for the support yesterday. I have an in person meeting today as a follow up my call yesterday!! JB- everything about your post made me smile! I absolutely love the new hair!!
