Sorry that happened to you. Did the cry make it better? I think it's the menopause. I started a couple years ago but for some reason the last couple weeks it i****ting me hard. I bet I hot flash 20 + x a day. I see the OBGYN this month. Hopefully he can make it stop. However I refuse to give up my coffee. So if that's a deal breaker I will choose coffee.

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday! I thought yesterday felt like a Wednesday all day. JB- so sorry for all you have to deal with, I can't even begin to imagine. Our county hit the "red" zone for two weeks so some limitations are being lifted or % increased. So now indoor dining, theaters, and what-not at 25% and things like gyms at 10%. I hope people stay alert and wear their masks and try to follow the social distancing guidelines so we don't spiral.

Accountability: Ugh, those darn snacks (I can blame the cats, they woke us up at like 11).

QOTD: It's hard to pick a favorite as I love it ALL. Maybe Cap'N Crunch if I have to pick one. By far though, I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE the little variety boxes.

Variety boxes. Wasn't there a way you could open them and pour the milk in the box? Those were super cool.

QOTD- My Mom never bought any of the sugared cereals so it was shredded wheat and cheerios. I don't use milk so it was dry cereal. Too many carbs now.

I must say I watched most of the debate, missed the first 10 minutes. It was truly awful, no excuses for not dealing with the pandemic, blame it on China...just disgusting.

The weather has been beautiful. It was 85 yesterday and we didn't get the expected smoke, so clear and wonderful. It even cools down at night, I'm tempted to turn the heat on in the morning, but by the afternoon the A/C is usually on.

I am so sorry JB about all the issues you are having at work. I feel sorry for the teachers as well, no good choices. We are still all on video school, not sure how well some students are doing. It really doesn't address the needs of so many kids.

Work has been horrible, I worked 4 1/2 hours on Sunday that I really didn't want to do. We are validating all of this information. It involves using 3 or 4 programs to research and is time consuming. I originally had 284 and then on Monday they dumped in an additional 2 1/2 times the original amount, we were supposed to have it done by today. But I'm not going to do any more, my boss is going to clarify what we are supposed to do. This has taken so much time away from what I'm really supposed to do. But I told my boss since I worked on Sunday I'm going to take a half day off on Friday. I'm going to go to the beach. I need some beach therapy, I need to walk on the beach and realize how small my problems are in the scheme of things.

On a good note the Pac-12 is going to start football on November 6, I can't wait. Go Ducks!

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning everyone. I woke up this morning and my fridge quit. The freezer is still working though. I am thankful that I have a spare fridge in the garage. I had to throw away my last light and fit pumpkin yogurt though! I am going to vacumn the coils and see if that helps. Maybe it just needs a good thaw, crossing my fingers! How long does a refrigerator last?? This one is about 12 years old.

I have been spot on with food and I feel good. I weighed on Monday and I am down 3 pounds from the previous Monday. I am thankful that I am moving in the right direction.

QOTD- I never had cold cereal growing up, so its not something I eat now.

Food for today-

fried egg with siracha

Tuna with onion, pickle and mayo

Real Good stuffed chicken breast

Not sure what else, I may have to get creative

Have a great day everyone!

I keep refrigerators for about 20-25 years. Kudos on the three pounds. That is great. Since the freezer is working, maybe something is blocked where the air comes into the refrigerator part. Vacuuming the coils and thawing out is a good plan. A repairman told me that dust on the coils is a reason for many refrigerator problems.

If thawing everything does not work, then the damper that lets cold air into the refrigerator might be stuck or broken. That is something that can be repaired fairly easily, either by someone who is handy or a repairman. Good luck.

actually, our kitchen fridge is 17 and the repair guy said we've had a good life from it - many last 12-15 years these days. So I should probably start doing some research so we can get a new one in quickly when this thing dies. Or we may just replace it regardless next summer. Our basement one, though, is ancient. It came with the house, which we bought 22 years ago. So it's probably around 25....
