Hello & Happy Hump Day! How is it only Wednesday? Yesterday was a total ****show at work. School opens in person in... [plays countdown music]...ONE DAY! And about 1000000000 new people applied for long term leaves yesterday. I have no idea if we are going to have enough humans to run these schools tomorrow. I am legitimately concerned, but sooooooo grateful not to be a principal anymore.

QOTD: What is your favorite breakfast cereal of all time? I was never allowed to have sugary cereal when I was a kid--we grew up on Grapenuts & Shredded Wheat, which were okay... but I discovered the yummy sugary cereals when I was in my 20s. I am torn between choosing Frosted Flakes, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Apple Jacks. I haven't had anything like that in over a decade but every now and then I want to turn down that aisle and go crazy, haha.

Another beautiful menu below. But, I have been so terrible about actually sticking to it. Yesterday I ate what I planned, but added a bunch of other things, including some wine & cheese to help take the edge off of watching the debate. Screw the calories--that was needed, lol.

Ugh, I feel so bad for teachers, parents, everyone with all this (gestures are 2020 Dumpster Fire). Hope you get through today and the week ok!

qotd - I think all I ate my freshman year in college was Lucky Charms and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Fortunately, I never saw the all marshmallow version in the stores, I would have gotten it. Something about those cardboard feeling, overly sweet artificial tasting and colored shapes, yum. I also like cinnamon Life.

I don't have a plan today. Nothing sounds good. I will have a last slice of PB toast, I have some pumpkin pie light and fit and I'm on my second cup of coffee so those things are set. Outside of that, who knows!

have a great Wednesday everyone!

Good morning all! This week is really dragging. I'm over it already. Accountability was good again yesterday. Thankfully my cravings haven't been too crazy like they usually are.

QOTD: I had many cereals that I enjoyed as a child. Ate a lot of cinnamon Life and cracklin oat brand, but I think my all time favorite was waffle crisp. There was just something about that sweet syrupy goodness!

B: coffee w/Splenda & sf creamer x2

B2: protein shake (premier shake mixed with a frozen banana)

L: 2 oz roast beef and a hard boiled egg

D: 4 oz baked salmon and broccoli

S: L&F Greek yogurt and fruit

TSS: 4 years, 6 months

B: Coffee!!! Scrambled eggs and cottage cheese

L: crab cake probably (out to lunch)

D: Pot roast (DS cooking)

The memories still trigger snacks for me. Have you done any grief counseling? I did not think I needed it until about a year later. They do have some tools that help with some of the issues.

Yes, I have been doing some grief counseling but this week is the week leading up to my deceased daughter's birthday (gone over 15 years). I just always feel that I should be finding great gifts and planning a party rather than planning a visit to her grave.

I am so sorry. That is heartbreaking and a grief that you should not have had to endure. Take care.
