Good Morning JB and Menuers,
I am feeling a little anxious today. I have never had anxiety ever in my life but since the pandemic I get anxious a lot. After watching the news this morning and seeing the devastation the fires are causing I feel sick in my stomach and I am very shaky today. I am usually able to cure this with a morning run but today the run did not help. I am just praying they get this under control and there are no more casualties. Since this is not in my neck of the woods I usually just think that is what they get for living there but today for some reason this ha**** me hard and I feel very bad for everyone going through this. I hope all my menu friends are safe and if you want to get away from it all my home is open to you here in Pennsylvania.

Sorry your run didn't burn off the anxiety today. Maybe try a few minutes of silent controlled breathing throughout the day? My Fitbit has a relax option that helps me sometimes, I use it every night before I go to sleep but also sometimes during the day-just seems to help me focus on something else for just 2 or 5 mins. I hope you feel better. Hugs!
Good Morning! Never a bad thing to start a day with Queen. I have not seen the Great British Bake Off but have always heard that people love it so maybe I need to binge on some older seasons... get a break from 90 day fiancé train wrecks. JB- I hope you get the problem resolved and that your boss returns soon.

The baking part is sort of fun, but what makes it so addictive is the humor. The hosts of the show are so funny and keep you laughing for the whole hour. They dress in funny outfits, make lots of funny remarks, and you learn to enjoy each character.
They also take you into the lives of the contestants. You learn about their lives and their families. There are contestants from many different cultures and nationalities. They bring their unique ideas to the things that they bake. You learn about so many different foods, seasonings, and customs.
This year they started with a spoof on their prime minister, who is as bungling and disoriented as our president. He even looks quite a bit like Trump. I bet if you watch one episode you will be hooked.
Here he is urging people to "save loaves" during the pandemic
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends

The show is about comfort food, but it is actually comfort food, in itself. Everyone is so loving and supportive and quirky and sweet. The humor is so kind and lighthearted and watching it feels like getting a hug. I can't think of anything better to binge while you have the time :)
