What's on your Saturday Menu?
Good morning, Happy Saturday y'all!
I've been up since 6, my mother in law is in WA so I have her dogs plus mine (separate houses). She is also babysitting two geriatric dogs who need meds, so here I am, wide awake!
QOTD - 1st would be downstairs, in my favorite chair. No one around, still dark outside, dogs sitting quietly with me, and my little lamp on. Just me and some hot coffee. 2nd, I like to sit in one of the local coffee shops, away from everyone but still able to people watch. I miss that. I miss the occasional "mind if I sit here?" and smiling and sharing a random moment with another local. I don't miss it enough to venture out and put myself at risk, or anyone else, but I do long for the experience. 3rd would be just about anywhere because I love coffee so much.
Breakfast - fasting till 1:00, so no breakfast. Hot black coffee, water and topo chico. I was hungry last night so I extended my eating window by an hour so now, my fasting is extended by an hour this morning. All good!
Lunch - chickpea salad, piece of toast with some avocado butter
Snack - fruit smoothie. Frozen fruit, oat milk, hemp seed hearts, hemp seed protein, chia seeds
Dinner - Thinking pizza...Not sure. We have kids so something relatively nutritious and delicious. If we do pizza, I'll add salad.
Have a wonderful day y'all!
Christina
Let it begin with me.

Your weekend sounds so exciting, Liz! And we get to live vicariously through you. My weekend involves 3 loads of laundry, cleaning the camper and giving the dog a bath. No excitement here but I may go to Goodwill today with my son Sam to look for some work tshirts for him. Miss Lily and I have our first long walk in and will do more later. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 120.4. Here's the food plan B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 3/4 c chili with cheese D 4 oz pork burger. QOTD sitting outside the camper at Pine Creek camp. Picture to follow. Stay safe and healthy everyone!
Mike likes to say that he is "a courtin'" me (like Jethro Bodine on The Beverly Hillbillies). LOL!
Great pictures! So pretty in the woods.

Good morning all. No real plans for this weekend except for the usual house chores and grocery shopping. Accountability for yesterday was pretty good. Although I really didn't stick to plan much at all. Ended up having nothing but protein shakes and coffee....felt like the liquid diet all over again. Was going through some personal stuff though so was pretty upset and cried....a lot. Which gave me a migraine. Haven't had one of those in so long that I had forgotten how painful they could be. Had to dig out my migraine medicine which I hadn't taken in months. So yeah, didn't have much of an appetite yesterday. Still recovering from the headache today so we will see what the food plan will be. Still not much of an appetite.
QOTD: My screened in porch when it's not too hot out. I love sipping on my coffee anywhere it is sunny and bright. I'm on the porch now drinking a cup even though it's kind of a gloomy cloudy day. Still just makes it better out here. Perhaps it's the fresh air.
B: coffee w/Splenda and sf creamer x 2
B2: protein shake (premier shake mixed with a frozen banana)
L: might be another shake depending on appetite
D: ?
S: L&F Greek yogurt and fruit maybe
Surgery: RNY on 1/23/19

I hope the rest of your weekend is better!

Mornin' Weekenders!
We're biking over to a tavern a little later this morning that's about 12 miles away. They have outdoor dining - pancake breakfast on the weekends (although also breakfast sandwiches with egg/bacon/cheese/English muffin, which is what I'll get. Except for lunch, since we probably won't get there until around noon). My goal for the summer was to be able to bike over there, since it's kind of a popular thing for cyclists around here to do, and earlier this summer a 24-mile round trip sounded impossible. Not anymore! Especially since we'll be stopping for a meal half-way through. Should be a breeze!
otherwise, not much on the agenda today. Some troll wrote some horrible thing about cats on our neighborhood's Nextdoor forum this morning (or overnight). He (I'm assuming it's a he) got several negative replies about his awful comment, and I replied that I'd reported him - which I had. I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have replied to him - and just reported his comment to the admin - since I posted under my real name. Hopefully he's just some stupid kid and not some sicko who'll figure out where I live and vandalize my house or something. I guess it's too late now - even if I delete my comment, the notification for it would have already been emailed to him. Ugh.
accountability wasn't good yesterday due to lunch at my friend's - plus she sent me home with some cookies (the big kind you get at a bakery) and I had one. So I'll have to watch it this weekend.
QOTD: First thing in the morning (after feeding the cats) I pour myself a cup of coffee and bring it back to bed, prop myself up with pillows, and drink it while I'm checking email, OH, the news, and Facebook. It's my absolute favorite time of day, so that would be my favorite coffee-drinking location. A close second would be local coffee shops. I'm glad so many of them have outdoor seating now. I'm not looking forward to the winter since I won't be able to go anymore - I won't do indoor dining (or coffee-drinking****il we're through this thing.

have a great day, everyone!
Good morning everyone! Happy Saturday to you. The grand girls have set the agenda for today. Bike riding, breakfast, bike riding, beach, lunch, pool, bike riding, dinner, bike riding. I'm sure you see a theme here. Lol. The RV park we are at is very family oriented and all the littles are out in a pack. All the adults are maintaining distancing. And every 9 seconds or so the girls lap around and shout Hi MP! Hi Papa! for their required check in.
QOTD. pretty much anywhere sitting outside. By the water is the ultimate win for me. Right now is a pretty good moment with a grand kid in our laps, coffee in our hands and dogs at our feet.
menu.
b might be just some jerky
L grilled cheese for the family, just cheese probably for me. Maybe some protein chips.
d tonight is bacon wrapped chicken tenders, corn on the cob and coleslaw.
I really have to push fluids today. My body is showing me that I did a real poor job the last couple days and I don't want to go back to begging chronically dehydrated like the months after surgery. So after coffee, water!!!
Peace, everyone!
