Some days...
One night my cat came running to me with his eyes terrified. When I went to see what was wrong, I found that a raccoon had done that to his cat door. I managed to get the raccoon outside again by opening the back door and chasing after it with a broom. Then I took some block and blocked the opening until I could get a new cat door installed the next day.
It was put in much more securely the next time.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
This is just for a laugh. I feel like this today!
This is why I hate cats. They'll scratch you when you're down.
We have a dog of a similar shape as that dog. We have two chihuahuas and because of the very fat one, we have a full size doggy door. With a ramp on both sides. Wouldn't want the little darlins [the actual epithet is not fit to post] to actually exert themselves.
All our dogs are destined to be fat. Whatever goes in my wife's mouth goes into theirs.

Of if you have kids! Our pups can hear the slightest amount of food hit the floor and they are there in a second. Thankfully, we can have them on a sit/stay when we're eating but snack time is hard sometimes. We also live in the desert and I'm the type of momma who doesn't like keeping the animals outside, even with shade and water. Our pups have a few extra pounds as well, but they are still healthy.
