G'morning everybody!

Happy everything went OK with your mom. I heard of the hime edit but haven'****ched it yet. I saw a pic on Twitter of people lining up in front of the container store before it opens, saying they are all home edit wannabes! I really have to watch it because I'm obsessed about closet organization.

QOTD: Santa Barbara. Love the town with all of the cute shops, the beach and the whole atmosphere. DH's dream is to retire in Ventura, which is a surfing town south of SB. So our compromise is to get a retirement home in SB and he can drive to Ventura.

I'm taking the 5th on my menu and workout :(

Happy hump day, everybody.

Ohhh the Home Edit is super good, you will love it.

Poor Grim. He looked up while I was watching it because everyone was shrieking and squealing and he said, "I don't understand. Cavewomen didn't have closets--this is not in your DNA! Why do all women sound like this when they see closets?"

Touche. But we do.

Tell Grim I disagree. There is something about closets that make women go weak at the knees.

So here's my story: 6 moms - we all met when our eldest were babies and in day care, that's 22 yrs or so ago. We kept in touch every year by having a get together at one of the houses and called our group the bunny hutch daycare group. One dad through his job and stock option**** big, I mean REAL big. So they bought a mega mansion, compound like. Needless to say that year they threw the annual party. Upon arrival we were given a tour of the house, at some point the guys all ended up in the man cave while the gals kept on with the tour. The whole house was gorgeous and we all ooohed and aaaahed at every room. Let me tell you, when we got to the master bedroom and she opened those doors to her closet room (because that was a whole separate room) you could hear 6, 45-50 year old women squealing and giggling like little school girls. It was just perfection. If we could, we would have had our meal in there.

Then the Home Edit is right for you, haha. I am picturing the first cavewoman who made a close in the hut. She must've been so excited!

My peaceful place is a state park not far from me. It is called Nelson-Kennedy Ledges. Before JFK's death it was just Nelson Ledges. It is a place with caves, rock formations, and waterfalls that were formed by the glaciers.

I have been going there all my life. There are hiking trails and great places in the caves. When I was much younger, I remember swinging across big cracks in the ground from a tree branch like Tarzan. One cave is called the Devil's Icebox and has a creek where the water is always ice cold. It was a great place to sit and soak a twisted ankle if I stumbled somewhere on the rocks.

Good Morning! JB- so glad that your mom is recovering well. I have not heard of The Home Edit, I just may have to try it out at some point. Again, another awesome pic!

We are dealing with smoky skies again, I attempted to go for a run outside yesterday and within just a few mins I could feel the burn in my throat and eyes so I came back home.

I had one of the Real Good stuffed chicken breast last night. Costco had a 6 pkg for like 12.99. They were tasty and I would buy again.
