Oh no! The flu is no joke so take care of yourself. Speaking from experience, giving in and resting will get you better faster than trying to power through.

Hope you take it easy and feel better quickly. I always get flu shots and have not had the flu in at least 20 years, maybe longer. I know it can happen though. The doctor advised me to get the flu shot as soon as it was available this year, so that is off my to do list.

Good Morning! JB- so glad you had a nice weekend, love the pic from the Zoo lights. Thank you for all the good vibes and well wishes, I am proud to report that Em did get cast in the play. She is thrilled, but I didn't remember that the play isn't until sometime in the Spring but they start rehearsals soon. Aside from celebrating that a little over the weekend and spending some time outside (yay for a relief from the smoke and cooler temps) nothing too exciting for us. Oh and my MIL appt went well Friday and she is ready to get the 2nd eye done in just a few weeks.
Accountability: A mixture over the weekend, with the worst being last night/overnight :(
QOTD: So many but here are a few that come immediately to mind are Carbmaster, chaffles, and tuna (I wasn't a big fan of it before).
