What's on your Monday Menu?
They are a bit bland, but for tacos and wraps, they work really well. I heat them in a dry skillet for just a few seconds on each side.

I see these in Walmart right by the eggs. I had them 1 time but I am not a fan. But maybe with a different filling they would be better. We may go fishing this week if I catch anything maybe I'll try these with fish taco's.

They Are definitely bland, Chrissy, but I've found that if I toast them a little bit and the food I'm eating has a bright sauce, they work well. I tend to tear off the parts that don't have fillings so they don't take up room in my stomach. It's like bread is just a butter transference device for me. A way to get butter in my mouth without licking the cube. In the old days at least.
You gotta try the jicama wraps at TJ!

I SO wanted to love these but I ended up throwing them out. I'm willing to try again with the right recipe--what did you do with them that was good?
Mornin' All!
My brother left yesterday so we're back to the routine - eating and otherwise. I ate way too many calories last night, unfortunately - but I took a 22-mile bike ride yesterday afternoon (took a little over two hours), so I wasn't too, too worried about it - but I can't continue to do that. Back at it today. I have online Mah Jongg at 10:00 and then a Zoom Webinar I want to watch this evening - but that's it (and speaking of which, I was thinking yesterday that it might be fun to have a Zoom or Google Meet or whatever meeting sometime with whoever on here is interested - it'd be fun to actually see people and talk to them! Just a thought...)
it's going to be a beautiful week weather-wise - sunny and 70s - so I need to get out as much as possible since this won't last much beyond this week, I'm afraid. I may try to go kayaking sometime this week - and definitely biking.
QOTD: I've tried and loved many of the ideas and recipes I've seen here - but ones I still make are yogurt pie and protein pancakes. Oh - and Fit Frappe - never heard of it before here.
TSS: 5y3m
B: coconut Greek yogurt with 1/2 diced mango, coffee with half & half
MS: I think a pumpkin protein shake or Fit Frappe (the espresso version made into a pumpkin latte)
L: sliced turkey and maybe some vegetables
AS: L&F yogurt with raspberries, light English muffin with light cream cheese
D: leftover chicken dish from last night. It's from my Christopher Kimball IP cookbook - a Nigerian (I think...) inspired recipe - another great one!
ex: I think I'll take a biking holiday today since my whole body is reminding me that I took that long ride yesterday. I may just walk or do some light weights or yoga
have a great day, everyone!
