Good morning everyone!

Happy Friday Eve.

QOTD - Definitely Scooby Doo, however, I want it to be the world in which Sam and Dean (Supernatural) were turned into cartoon characters as well. I love love love crossover plus Dean, so...

Breakfast - fasting, so hot black coffee, water and topo chico

Lunch - I brought two things, not sure which. Either rotini with vegan crumbles and pasta sauce (dinner from last night), OR, quinoa and lentils, with a Loma Linda chipotle bowl. Cranberry walnut cookies because coworker brought them and I LOVE THEM.

Snack - yogurt with chia seeds and hemp seed hearts

Snack - 1/2 PB&J

Dinner - SOMETHING OUT I AM TIRED OF COOKING.

I hope you ALL have a wonderful day!

Christina

Good morning! Wow did yesterday turn out to be busy. I'm hoping for a little more even keeled day. Last night's wok dinner turned out great, each time is easier, but it's still leaves the kitchen in a hot mess. So glad the hubs takes clean up duties each day.

QOTD: Calvin and Hobbes. I have one somewhere where they are on a skateboard flying down a hill and the thought bubble says "possibly careening towards death! Yet, I'm hungry."

Menu

B: coffee and 1/2 PP shake. Costco chicken skewer and a few whisps later on

L: leftover Char Siu pork and cauliflower fried rice

D: a little bit of rib eye steak, some sweet potato and a bit of corn on the cob. Hubs favorite meal, and I'm going to pick at it.

Peace everyone!

EXCELLENT cartoon pic. I used to have all of the giant books with all of the comics. Love them :)

Mornin' All!

I have to host a Webinar starting in a half hour, so that'll take most of my morning. Not sure what's on tap for this afternoon. Bro is here, but he's planning on spending time with my niece today. So I'll probably ride my bike this afternoon. Plus I have to listen to one of my class lectures. In one of my classes, the lectures are always on the Web site and always available, so I can listen to them whenever (although the "real" students have to take a short quiz after listening to each lecture, and I think there's a deadline on getting that in - I think by the end of the week). With this other class, he only posts his lectures for six hours (Tues and Thurs afternoon), so if you don'****ch it then, you're screwed. So maybe I should do that BEFORE riding my bike...

we went out to dinner last night with the fam. A pizza place. I'd already had close to 1500 calories before we even went (we had reservations for 7:00 - I CANNOT wait that long for dinner!), and I had 1.5 slices of pizza there (it was a 16" pie cut into 10 pieces). So of course I was way over on my calories. But my weight was down 1/2 lb this morning. Whatever... I'm just glad I physically can't eat more than one or two slices of pizza anymore, otherwise it would have been a disaster.

JB - one of our cats was formerly obese. He's normal weight again (after much work and agony on our part), but he STILL, after two years of being normal, begs for food all the time, knocks things off the table and counters when he wants us to feed him, and generally acts obnoxious because he wants to be fed. ARRGGHH! We usually have to put him in the guest room when he gets bad (which he does almost every day - at least for awhile). Fortunately, he likes it in there. It's a never ending battle, though. Too bad they don't have WLS for cats. I'm sure his body is still dying to be at his former weight.

QOTD: the Jetsons was the first thing that popped into my mind - but I see a couple of you beat me to it!!

TSS: 5y3m

B: 1/2 C cooked farro topped with 1/2 C plain Greek yogurt with fake brown sugar (Swerve), a peach and 1/3 of a pear (my fruit is starting to rot! Yikes!!). Coffee with half & half.

MS: Fit Frappe

L: some more of the Indian dish I made the other day (name escapes me - but it was chicken with a curry sauce - and I served it over couscous (couscous are not Indian, I know...). All the chicken is gone, but I'll have 1/4 C of couscous with some of the sauce on it. With a Costco chicken skewer or a couple slices of turkey breast)

AS: probably L&F with 1/2 diced mango

D: if we're going out, which we probably will, I don't know - but something safe for sure!

have a great day, everyone!

It took over 2 years for our guys to stop waking us (no me) in the middle of the night. Fezzie attacked my feet every night at 1am for 2+ years. No idea why he did it and no idea why it stopped... but he is just full of it.

In the window/out of the window, cuddle against my legs, then against my face, Luna likes to leave Em's room at random times - this is known when she scratches under the door but she meows if the door is just left open and then randomly te two will hiss and fight for no good reason. Fur-mama life :)
