What's on your Wednesday Menu?
Good Morning! JB- I will join you in the no sleep club from last night. Our precious loving kitties (sense the tad snark int there?!?) were a bit needy and wanted on and off the bed/window sill/end table..you name it.
Thank you all for the support for Em yesterday, she got a call back and has an audition (again via Zoom) for two parts on Friday afternoon.
Accountability: Too many snacks, all "approved" but way too many.
QOTD: My MIL is having cataract surgery scheduled this week for one eye and in two weeks for the other. Her vision has really declined over the past 5 years or so and we are hoping these help. I don't understand all that is being done but she is supposed to get some major improvement. At the moment she is considered pretty much legally blind.

This year the eye doctor said that it was time to take off my cataract that has been there now for about 22 years. Then the eye surgeon said he wants to wait another year. If I look at things with just the cataract eye I see less vision every day. It has been noticeable now for three years but getting worse all the time.
Cataract surgery is scary to me. I hope it goes really well for your mom. Two of my sisters have had it and their vision is back to 20/20 now.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Mom had the cataract surgery 13 years ago and she still has not had to go back to glasses. She did hers in 2 parts also. There is some drops and you need to watch lying down or something for the first couple days but it is quick and easy and as always if you follow the Doctors orders she will do great. And congratulations to EM this is very cool. Do we know the name of the production yet?
