Hope you have a great visit with your friend - and love the photos -- the looking at the open road one especially (and add me to the list of lovers of the shirt)

Good morning, everybody!
Marilyn came home last night, so our house feels back to normal. Except that we went from three kids (4 while my daughter's boyfriend was staying with us) to 2, and now to 1. Me and my son had a nice dinner last night. We both ordered the same thing - petit filet. We did get a strawberry shortcake but didn't have any of the carrot cake.
The waiter said that the carrot cake slice was 6 pounds.
It's rainy here today and cool, its been nice to cool down and get some rain for the lawn and gardens.
QOTD - Usually I go to bed at 11:00. Wake up in the middle of the night for a bathroom break and try landfill back to sleep. if I can't get back to sleep, I read and then fall asleep on the couch.
Pictures are our shirts and medals from the Lake Tahoe run. I haven't quite finished but I'm confident that I will over the weekend.
Breakfast - protein bar
Lunch - Mahi patty
Snack - nuts
Dinner - Wine and cheese

This Dad and Daughter photo is so cool. I don't have many photos of me and my Dad. I wish I had more. This is defiantly a keeper. You both look so official soooo cute. (She looks like you.)

That is such an amazing picture of two really healthy people. You have been so successful with your weight loss journey.
When I feel brave enough to go to a restaurant again I will definitely have the petite filet. That was my first restaurant meal about four months after my RNY. I would pass on the carrot cake too.

In a very general sense, we also did it with Kelly, but she chewed through miles in such large chunks, that she was done before we knew it!
