I would happily move in with you and shovel all your snow! The air quality is horrible here with all the fires going on.

Ugh, you are so much closer than I am too -- yesterday the weather app described Colorado weather as "smoky"...I may have yelled at my phone because smoke is not a weather descriptor but it was accurate.

Good morning everyone! Back to work today. Was a nice relaxing long weekend! They are just never long enough! Got a lot accomplished and also had time to be lazy and relax. Accountability for yesterday was ok aside from brunch. Tried to order the lowest calorie item on the menu, but that still ate up a chunk of my calories. We had to wait such a long time for a table so it was closer to one before we ate and we were both starving by then. I guess the good thing about eating so late was I didn't need to eat anything else until dinner. Only ate half of my meal and had the other half for dinner.

QOTD: I'd say I was more of a risk taker when I was younger. As a child I was the only one in my family wanting to ride all the roller coasters at amusement parks. My brother was deathly afraid of them and my parents had no interest. I've always enjoyed them up until I gained so much weight that I couldn't fit on them anymore. Now that I can fit again I have no interest. I'd even say that I'm afraid to ride one now. Funny how that works. I think I was a thrill seeker when I was younger. As a young child I remember watching the scariest horror movies. Now I won't be caught dead watching one. I'm way too scared to watch them. Lol. As far as other areas I'm definitely not a risk taker. I'm probably overly cautious in a lot of areas. Sometimes I think that's good, but on the other hand I kind of miss my old self who threw caution to the wind. Lol

B: coffee w/Splenda x 2

B2: oatmeal and a banana

L: 2 oz low sodium turkey breast and a hard boiled egg

D: 4 oz baked salmon and broccoli

S: built protein bar or L&F Greek yogurt and fruit

Good morning! Wasn't the weather fantastic for the holiday weekend! I'm glad you had a good visit to the Cape. Yeah, sunburns happen, though I am in the sun so much I rarely get them.

I am in Martha's Vineyard with Mike and we had a great day yesterday. Today is his birthday and we plan to go to the beach and out to dinner at a restaurant I made a reservation at. We had a tough time getting a spot at a restaurant last night because people didn't go home like usual on Labor Day but very few restaurants were open.

QOTD: I consider myself to be very risk adverse in most instances. I don't do scary, dangerous things. I hate scary amusement rides and scary movies. I have a very conservative financial portfolio. But I will go to a restaurant based on how it looks and I have not been as paranoid about Covid as many are. I take precautions but obviously haven't been staying in all the time.

B: Coffee!!!

L: ????

D: ? (out to dinner)

S: ? (Probably wine and cheese)

What part of the Vineyard are you on? My cousin who owns a rental place in Vineyard Haven says that she thinks it will be a big shock to people who are renting on the island much later than usual (she is booked through October) when they find out that nothing will be open! She's bracing for people wanting refunds after they get there and find out they can't even eat out.

I am in Edgartown. Luckily we have a reservation for tonight. In a normal year, most of MV shuts down after Columbus Day. But we were walking around Oak Bluffs yesterday and there were signs everywhere looking for help and some businesses had signs saying they were closed due to lack of employees.

Chicken Kiev is something I have never had and always wanted to try. Is it from a recipe?

hi all- weekend went well, came back to GA Friday after work, DH brought dogs the next day. He is caring for his father this week so he is staying there for the week. We are leaving SAT for vacation for a week so I only have 4 whole days of work wahoo.

QOTD: when it comes to our business we take risks, sometimes they work, sometimes we like other things better and adjust. work wise I generally don't take risks. Food choices, I will try most anything. adventure I like though it can be scary.

food plan- prepped a LOT of what I call real food (no sliders) so planning on that all day.

b: chicken sausage/egg whites

b2: swai and veggies

l:fish soup

l2/d shephards pie/added veggies
