What's on your Tuesday Menu?

Hello Friends! Back at it today! I had a very nice long weekend :) Friday I was on the Cape for the day, literally baking in the sun (oooh sunburn!), and Sunday we had a birthday party with Grim's daughter. The other days, we just laid low, got things done, crafted, read books, etc. It was very nice. I slept terribly last night, though, so I am annoyed to start today overtired after a nice weekend like that! Oh well.
Food was........okay? I wasn't great about planning my menu ahead on most days, and I definitely overindulged on a few things--including birthday cake (Grim made him famous German Chocolate Cake with Almond Frosting), but all in all, not the worst weekend I have ever had, lol. I haven't weighed in yet, though...
QOTD: Do you consider yourself a risk-taker? I'm a mixed bag. I am pretty conservative when it comes to physical risk and danger--I would never skydive or anything like that, and I have been very risk-averse when it comes to COVID. But I've been willing to jump in with both feet on other things that people consider "risky" like career decisions, haircuts, big purchases.... I was with my BFF and her parents this weekend and they have got to be the most careful group of people ever. They would literally NEVER just go into a restaurant if they hadn't read 12 positive reviews. It's so funny to me.

Good morning and happy winter everyone! It's 39 and raining here and I charged the snowblower batteries yesterday in prep for the up to 7 inches of snow they are calling for. I hope we get every inch of it and it put sour the fires. The smoke has been so bad and the fires are doing so much damage.
i had a great long weekend! Some time with friends, down time relaxing, for a few things done and watched some Cobra Kai.
qotd - I don't think of myself as a risk taker but I have been told I am. One of the many personality trait tests I've been through for work identifies me as the biggest risk taker in my leadership team which I thought was hilarious!
Today's plan is some elliptical, a ton of meetings including 4 hours of succession planning, possibly some shoveling or snow blowing and some housecleaning tonight.
menu today is
coffee + half and half x 3
Protein waffle with peanut butter
carbmaster cottage cheese
Everroast deli chicken and slice cheddar
cheese crust pizza slice
light and fit greek
have a fantastic day!!

Whoa I am not ready to even think about 7' of snow, but it would be great if nature would step in to stop the fires.
Do you like Cobra Kai?

I am enjoying it -- it's pretty mindless and the episodes are only about 25 minutes so it's not a huge commitment. I am watching a. Episode a day with my first cup of coffee, way better than doom scrolling twitter or the news.

I freaking LOVED it. We finished the first season. I think 39 years is a DAMN long time for Johnny Lawrence to have some sort of a redemption arc, but I am here for it! I'm ready for season two!
I can't believe I'm rooting for Cobra Kai over Miyagi-Do tho...

Let it begin with me.

Daniel is just such a whiny ASS! Johnny FTW!
But we both kept laughing and wondering if anyone else on earth is still holding a massive grudge against their 9th grade sports rival. Get over it you two...jeez!

When I threw my 20 year high school reunion, people were still holding grudges...so petty...and so clique-y--I was asked to plan the 30 year and noped right out of that conversation.
