Wow that hand stand looks incredibly hard. But look at you doing it. I am so impressed. Is the Weather app just playing games with you? Surely there is No way it is going form 87 to 37 in one day.

what's really entertaining is the 50 degree drop doesn't even make the top one day swings. There was a September a few years ago where it was 80+ around 2pm and I think it dropped to 28 or 29 that night. Colorado is the definition of crazy beautiful in the spring and fall.

must be the dry air out there. It's humid in Wisconsin (well, not in the winter - but other times of year, yes). I think the humidity holds in the heat and keeps things more stable. I do remember being in Turkey (esp when we were in Ankara, which is pretty arid) - the difference in temps between day and night was pretty extreme...

They say it's the topography -- it generates so much variation -- particularly along the front range/eastern plains. Definitely with you on the humidity holding the heat -- moving from Miami to Phoenix really solidified that for me - in the dry climates you at least get a temp change going from daylight to night (although in Arizona, the 10-15 degree drop wasn't as much of an improvement when you were still over 100, lol).

Wow. I appreciate everyone sharing snapshots of their areas. I can only really add that lines up with what I have been reading, seeing and sensing since this began. Please try to stay safe through whatever is happening OH Friends.

Oh that is a creepy scene. It's a different world than the beginning of the year. So strange!

Good morning everyone.

we have the kids today...well one of them all day then we have to pick up two from school. School started Tuesday and they already have confirmed COVID cases in a couple of the schools. Our district is run by my old science teacher. He isn't doing a great job IMHO.

I tried a grain free & dairy free pizza last night. It was soooo good! It wasn't exactly light(8 points for half a small pizza) but it'll be a nice once in a blue moon kind of thing. They had a bunch of dairy free dinners on clearance that were lower calorie too. I got a good deal on them!

One of my pics is of a Dobson fly I think, Opal and a funny meme.

b: egg cup(just has onion, bell pepper and daiya cheese) banana and a small cappuccino

l: last slice of pizza(my mom had a piece yesterday) kiwi

d: one of the frozen dinners. Thinking the coconut curry chicken

s: popcorn, vegan snack bar, toast with plant based butter

have a good day everyone!

Have a fantastic long weekend JB! You deserve it! Those pictures of Boston are definitely spooky. We have been in a different world on Cape Cod where it has felt almost normal.

Today is Mike and my one month anniversary of dating. I met a couple of his friends yesterday in Scituate (what a beautiful waterfront town). Today we are hiking, then beaching out his way. Here are flowers he brought on our 4 week anniversary a few days ago:

QOTD: The restaurant DS was executive chef at went under and a few others have, but most have been able to stay open on Cape Cod through outdoor dining and the fair number of tourists visiting here. I suspect quite a few more will go under this fall once it gets too cold to eat outside as most people won't dine inside and I don't think takeout can sustain all of them.

TSS: 4 years, 5 months

B: Coffee! egg and laughing cow cheese

L: oysters and sushi (yes, eating out AGAIN)

D: Grilled chicken and veggies (DS is cooking -- DD came for the weekend)

S: Cheesecake yogurt pie with strawberries
