Mike and I had a good afternoon yesterday watching a movie with Justice across our laps. Today we are meeting Mike's friends for lunch, so I get to be the one being inspected... What to wear?

QOTD: I have never been a big fruit eater in the past but have really integrated it since rejoining WW 9 months ago. I think strawberries might be my favorite though bananas are close. Apples will become more prominent once I get some from a central Mass orchard - I love to cook them in the microwave with SF syrup and cinnamon.

Enjoy your Lunch date. I suggest white pants since we can no longer wear them after Monday. I wore white pants everyday this week knowing after Monday I have to give them up,.

my mother always told me that rule - I wonder where that even came from? I don't always follow it to a "T" anymore - although on the other hand, I don't wear white once the cold sets in...but mostly because I don't have any winter clothes that are white.

After the civil war, the old wealthy southern ladies started rules to set themselves apart from people who were newly wealthy. That continued into the 1900's and one of the rules became no white after Labor Day. Of course the old wealth ladies did not share those rules, but just made fun of the people who did not know them.

We usually ignore that rule on Cape Cod as long as it is warm and obviously don't follow it in Florida!

I love wearing white in Florida in the wintertime. I know it is a dumb rule, but I follow it in Ohio.

You have such lovely outfits, I'm sure you'll be a knock out no matter which one you choose.
