What's on your Thursday Menu?
FIGS!!! How could I have forgotten figs? Oh so sugary, but so very yum! The dry ones would just put me in a coma nowadays. I eye them constantly at Whole Foods but don't dare buying them.

I know it's gross but I still love them. I just read they are not even considered fruit, they are a type of flower that blooms from the inside. So cool how nature works.

A friend bought me these figs from Italy that we're dipped in very dark chocolate. They were/are heaven! I won't be getting them again but man...so good.
i don't react to sweets as of yet but I do try to stay away from overly sweet stuff.

I know I am biased, but italian figs are the best. My SIL's parents have an orchard with fig trees. Every time I go home, if in season, they bring me these HUGE black figs. I'm drooling just thinking of them.
