What's on your Thursday Menu?
The first time I drove on ice and snow, I lost control of the car and slid into a curb. That resulted in a flat tire. I called my husband for help. He asked me if the tire was completely flat. I said, No, it is just flat on the bottom. He laughed and came and fixed it.

Thank goodness I don't really have to pick one fruit to eat every day. I really only like fruit when it is season. Right now, I have been eating fresh peaches every day. In June, it is fresh black cherries. Strawberries are best here in late May. Apples are wonderful in the fall.
When fruit is not in season and basically tasteless, I often don't bother with it at all.

Good morning everybody!
I slept terribly last night. It's 7:45 and already, I am feeling like I am dragging. I have a number of things to do today, but its equal between work and the non-profit that I serve on the Board of. Hopefully, I can take a nap this afternoon.
Still hoping that most clients/co-workers start easing into the weekend this afternoon. We'll see.

Good morning everyone.
I had good appointments yesterday. I also found some stainless steel necklaces on clearance at Michaels for a few pendants I'm sending to a friend for her birthday.
I'm tired today though. My pain level is high and I'm so over it.
no big plans that I know of. Just a run to the post office!
QOTD: I love most fruit. I try to keep fresh kiwis on hand, I like the gold ones best right now. I'd have to say dates and figs(either fresh or dried) are my absolute favorite. I rarely eat them but man are they good!

When I was in Brazil, the best meal I had....and I ended up having it at the hotel bar most nights was a baked fig, goat cheese and prosciutto bruchetta, with a honey drizzle and fresh cracked pepper; I try to recreate it without the bread when I find figs in season...and it's just as yummy.
