^^Me today!^^ ...Because I am going into the office! I am so weirdly excited about it, lol. I haven't been into the office since the day we left on March 17th!!! I don't think I will make it a regular thing, but I am excited to in and get some things from my desk that I have been missing. Plus, I have to give a big zoom presentation today to all of the principals in the district, and it will be nice to do it without a cat walking across my screen. But I am legit scared to get dressed and put on pants after I take a shower! I mean... pants? It's been a minute since I have seen those.

QOTD: If you could only eat one fruit for the rest of your life, which one would you pick? I'd miss others, but I would be perfectly happy with an apples day for the rest of my life. I grew up in a rural part of MA known as "apple country". Did you know Johnny Appleseed was a real guy? He lived in the town next door to where I grew up. I was in multiple plays about his life when I was a kid, haha. Anyway, needless to say I am a devout apple eater and couldn't imagine my life without them :)

I am not ready to put up a menu yet today... I should have been more on top of thinking through packing a lunch for my day in the office, but I wasn't on it. I need to be there by 8am for a meeting, so if I am running late I might just drive-thru Starbucks this morning and grab egg bites for breakfast and one of their pre-packaged lunches. But if I have time to really pack something, I will make myself a nice big salad with chicken to take with me. Or maybe I will have that for dinner... TBD!

P.S. I think I will still be able to start us off tomorrow, but it's a vacation day for me, so if you don't see it, feel free to kick it off!

Have a good in office day!! The struggle to get back into a routine is real (I'm glad to be WFH today)!

QOTD - my favorite fruit is banana; I rarely eat them anymore and my second favorite is blackberry, which is really the only fruit I eat regularly.

today is my Friday and I may try to stay off line all weekend; we'll see -- that's a long time! Tonight we have a socially distant backyard thing so I'm looking forward to some time with my girl gang.

menu today is

Carbmaster cottage cheese

cold brew skyr

3 oz cheddar, 1 oz salami

tbd on dinner, maybe a burger

Good morning everyone! I was in the bed early again last night. Yesterday was super stressful with work and I just felt drained. Even so I still kept waking up and this morning I'm super tired. Sigh....I see lots of coffee in my future! Can't wait for the 3 day weekend! It can't get here soon enough!

QOTD: This is tough because I literally live off of fruit! I try to always have on hand bananas, blueberries, nectarines, plums and apples. Well when they are in season of course. If I had to choose just one though I'd say bananas. Since I eat about one banana a day.

B: coffee w/Splenda x infinity

B2: scrambled eggs with salsa or oatmeal

L: 2 oz roast beef deli meat and a hard boiled egg

D: TBD

S: L&F Greek yogurt and a banana or a built protein bar

Morning! I'm back to work and I'm walking with one crutch. I can get up the stairs alone. Life is GOOD. For the first morning in 3 weeks I came down and got myself coffee this morning. I'm sure the PT is going to be mad that I took it upon myself to start weight bearing, but whatever.

QOTD: Strawberries, for sure. I've been so mad lately because every time I get them delivered they are gross and full of mold. So, I've moved on to grapes for awhile but they are SO sugary - as my blood sugar clearly lets me know.

Glad to see your healing. I just hope your not doing to much. I have had setbacks in the past from not following the doctors orders. Be careful you don't over do it.

I had a very bad RH episode with grapes to the point I passed out. Haven't touched grapes since then.

Good morning, happy Friday Eve

QOTD - Watermelon. I love it.

Breakfast - fasting, so black coffee and topo chico and water

Lunch - vegan hot dog, polenta and kale, with sliced cucumbers on the side

Snack - Bread with avocado butter, peanut butter and pom jelly

Dinner - NO idea. Lately I've been snacking on pepitas, yogurt, etc. No plans right now.

morning all

yesterday after work was a bit of a mess. got a flat on Monday, then DH plugged it long enough to make to tire store. the damage was on the side wall which apparently you can't patch so had to replace entire tire. Had to waste 2 or more hours dealing with it, then it was time for gym but DH had not eaten so I went back and cooked for him which then meant no gym. I've found I like routine and when things change drastically I have a hard time with it and get super crabby and then feel bad about myself. grrr

QOTD: hard one but if sugar was NOT a factor, nectarine I think. second choice would be apple, 3rd watermelon and 4th prune? I love prunes and would eat them all the time if pooping and sugar was not an issue.
