Good Morning JB and Menuers,

Good luck JB sticking to that 8 hour day. I hope it goes well for you. I love the Taco mask too.

I been MIA I know. At the last minute I decided to take Friday off to drive my husband to an appointment. I have 7 more vacation days I need to use before October 21 or I loose them so I thought may as well get one more in before summer is over. Unfortunately my plan was to hang at the pool all weekend however it ended up being rainy Friday and Saturday and Sunday were actually in the low to mid 70's so we subbed out hot tub for pool both days.

Ford said my vehicle is fixed and they gave it back. It is running like it did before I had this problem but I still do not feel comfortable in it. I am waiting for paper work to explain what they did to fix it and to find out if Ford will still do the buy back.

QOTD: The Three Stooges. I think it is more a man thing that is why I can not see the humor. I also dislike Amy Schumer and Melissa McCarthy. I find them more rude and vulgar than funny.

Accountability; I replaced a meal yesterday with 4 Maple cream Oreos and I had a glass of wine with dinner Saturday.

I am hoping that Ford helps square away all the car trouble.

I had issues with a Ford Escape that they could never repair. The car would go into what they call "limp mode" when i was driving on the freeway. Basically it would give me just enough time to get over to the side of the road and wait for it to eventually restart and then it would run fine...or I would have to call a tow truck. I had it to the ford dealer so many times and they would always say that they could not recreate the problem. As in-clearly you are making this up lady!

After doing a lot of searching on the Ford forums on my own I finally discovered the problem. I took it to my local tire guy who spent quite a bit of time reviewing what i told him i found in the fourms that there is a small part called the Pcv valve that used to get replaced as part of routine maintenance-like oil changes and tune ups but Ford moved its location so that it was under the engine and the only way to reach it would be to remove the engine. the car was maybe 7 years old by the time this started happening, so i did end up selling it to carvana . but i work for a union, so we have to buy ford or gm or walk to work! so i have another ford. I hope you get your buy back.

Good morning, everybody!

We had a nice weekend. Friday night was WOD and wine. Saturday was a lot of errands, etc. Yesterday relaxing and got in 6 miles towards the Lake Tahoe virtual race. 18 miles to go!

Tomorrow is kind of a big day for us. DD takes part 3 of the CPA exam (its the hardest part) and my youngest son goes back to school. On Sunday, Marilyn and my daughter will be flying to Texas to move her into her apartment and then it will just be three of us at home for the next two years. Wow!

It's so dry here in Chicagoland that the leaves are starting to fall off of the trees in droves. We are supposed to get cooler weather this week, hopefully, we will get some rain also.

QOTD: Pretty much anything that is on after I go to bed.

Breakfast: Quiche

Snack: Protein Bar

Lunch: hamburger

Snack: nuts

Dinner: cod

Have a great day, all!

ah - so DD will be working at a branch in Texas, then? I thought she'd be based in Chicago -- but it sounds like not.
