I start the night with those socks with non-skid bottoms like they give you in the hospital. I have a lot of pairs. I also start the night under three blankets and am freezing, By morning the socks are on the floor and my feet are outside the blankets.

JB, I can't even believe today's QOTD. I legit never imagined that ANYONE would sleep in socks, but I see some people I like and respect a whole lot, saying they sleep with socks!!! Mind. Blown.

It's been a while since I popped in but thought I would say hi even though today's menu and the rest of the week is up in the air. We are going on a social distance beach trip through Friday, since we haven't taken ANY vacation this year practically. We always stay at AirBNB but this time it's a hotel on the beach which means TRUE vacation for me (no laundry! no cooking!) although that makes it harder for me to eat reasonable calories having 2 meals out a day.

Anyway, just saying hi and I keep tabs on the thread almost on a daily basis and love seeing y'all day after day! Have a great Tuesday and stay safe from hurricanes, fires, and COVID. XO

Good Tuesday morning everyone.

I'm not feeling very well this morning. My pouch is being grumpy and I'm really sore & tired. So wish I could fast forward through the day.

I was soooo grumpy yesterday and I'm feeling the same today. We've got a lot to do though so no rest for the wicked.

qotd: I usually don't wear socks to bed....it has to be very cold or if I'm sick and running a fever.

b: hard boiled egg, slice of toast and part of a banana oh and coffee

l: might be a small omelette or a small burrito

d: maybe salmon...not sure yet

s: WW bar, popcorn and maybe a few kiwis(they are small)

Good Morning! Sorry I missed posting yesterday, my schedule was all out of whack and by the time I would have been able to read/post it would have been way late. The biggest reason for the havoc on my schedule is that we added to members to the fam-bam on Friday. We adopted not one, but two cats. One is about a year old, tiger striped and named Lily (she was the one John and I picked) and the other is estimated to be about 3 years old and a "muted" calico (light coloring) and she chose Em. She would not leave Em's side the whole time we were at the rescue and the two have been inseparable since. We've all been adjusting and getting comfy. I'll post pics on Friday for those not on FB. There were some other oddities over the weekend but I'll save those for another day :)

Accountability: Way too many snacks over the weekend.

QOTD: In the Winter if I'm cold I'll wear them but take them off before too long.

TSS: 6 years

B: SF latte, Quaker protein/fiber oatmeal and turkey sausage

L: Albacore tuna lettuce wraps, SF Jello with cool-whip and baby carrots

S: Chaffle, and Carbmaster cottage cheese

D: Shirataki noodles with Alfredo sauce/mozzarella cheese and grilled chicken breast on top, toasted lavash, sliced fruit, and 2 squares dark chocolate

ES: low carb pita with SF jelly and cream cheese, Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: 6 mile treadmill run and one hour elliptical

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1637 Protein:143 Carbs:151 Fat:63

Have a great one!
