What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
It's a little artisan shop in Venice. Long story when I lived there I found this little shop, and while I was there I would go in and order custom made bags. Now that I'm here, through a friend who lives in Venice I get few bags because they have no web presence and don't even take credit cards. It's literally a no name shop (it's called pelletteria which means leather shop) away from the hubbub of tourists. I have a leather backpack they made for me (about 30 years ago) and it's still my favorite backpack. I saw this bag somewhere, sent them a pic through my friend and they made it for me.

Mornin'!
I have my film discussion group today at 12:30, and I've yet to watch the film, so guess what I'll be doing this morning? I have no clue what I'm doing after that - probably at some point doing weights at the gym and some outdoor exercise as well. On Sunday I've tentatively planned to go kayaking with a friend's husband, since both of us have been wanting to go and haven't found any willing companions thus far. I'm really looking forward to that and hope that the nice weather holds out!!
QOTD: not really. My family wasn't very religious and my parents were both teachers, like JB's (mother - elementary school, father - university professor). It was kind of tough really early on though when my father was a PhD student and later dissertating. His stress level during those years was through the roof (understandably), so we did a lot of tiptoeing around. But otherwise - no, not really.
weight is finally coming back down - thankfully! Calories were good yesterday and I both walked and biked - I plan to be "on plan" again the next few days, too!
