What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
Good Fri-yay morning Everybody!
JB - I join in with you to say F it to this week. You have more rights than I but I join in solidarity. Please take care of yourself that you don't end up like the year you were stressed all the time. Your pics are always cute no matter the angle.
My MIL who is in a home care facility had to be taken to hospital because of a hip pain. At first we thought it was broken but turns out it's just old age, she is 85. But the scare for a good hr or so was that they might not allow her back into the home care. Poor DH called from hospital saying if they won't let her back in what do we do? Well, we just have to have her here at home, won't we? I was already thinking about all the logistical nightmare but what choice did we have? Turned out they did allow her back in but they would quarantine her for 48 hours and test her before they release her to do group activities. Phew! Don't get me wrong, we would have done it but DS's reaction to it made me laugh. He said he might have to leave earlier than planned if grandma was coming to stay.
QOTD: the walls are white. But the room is a light grey/blue color. The only room in our house that has colored walls is the kitchen - yellow. DH hates colored walls because when he was little his dad painted his room dark purple (a paint color he found on sale?) and I guess it traumatized him. He can't handle it if we talk about painting a wall.
Confession time : I ate a WHOLE bag of Russell Stover SF toffee chocolates. I bought a bag with the idea of eating one. Then went back for the second, third and I didn't rest until I ate all 6 of them. Ugh! You can give a girl an RNY but unless she has a lobotomy, chocolate is always a weakness.
My meals yesterday:
- B: coffe + WW muffin
- L: Costco egg bites
- S: Russell Stover chocolates - WHOLE bag
- D: skipped
- E: 30 minutes cardio + 50 minutes strength training
My pics are
1- me and my favorite item for DS's dorm (thanks to Chrissy)
2 - Mother Nature was such a show off last night on our walk.
Have a great weekend everybody.

Sheila, your hair has grown out so pretty and fun! I love it! (and the sunset pictures are beautiful as always). We have two big fires going on in the mountains west of here-- the sunsets have been amazing colors but so sad too.

The curls are coming back.
Oooh, fire sunsets are no good. We are entering our fire season here too and just the smell of BBQ makes me unease.

Hah! After what you said about boys cleaning their room I'm wondering if I should even send it with him.

I'd 100000% keep those for myself. Why waste them on teenage boys??
Beautiful pics (all of them): I do love your hair!
