He will miss you in a couple of weeks, whether he wants to admit it or not. And it will only take one time carrying crates of books up the dormitory stairs before he will want's your husband's help.

My son is also fiercely independent. I remember when he was about four, I was reading to him about turtles. The mother turtle lays her eggs, covers them up, and then goes back to sea. The babies are born about two months later and must survive on their own.

Kevin said that he wished he had been a turtle. I asked why and he said that then he would never had to put up with parents. When he was fourteen, he started asking for presents like lamps and tables. By his 18th birthday, he had enough furniture to furnish his own apartment.

He moved out and stayed on his own ever since. I believe that desire was just born in him. He works hard, studies hard, plays hard, but has always insisted on earning his own living and paying his own way.

QOTD- Blue Prius, and a green Ford F150 (not a color I would choose, but it was cheap and I plan to sell it when I get my garage and house cleaned out.) My favorite car was my Mustang that was Bright Atlantic Blue- a color that was discontinued. I went from a fun car to an old lady car, but the mileage is great.

Work is a pain, they keep adding more work and one group wants this web site updated and the other wants a spreadsheet updated. I'm not sure why they can't import the information to the Smartsheet website. Plus who is going to pay for it after the trial period is done? As a contractor I don't want to spend money I don't need to, and if the company wants it they should provide it. No answers on that, as I asked my boss on our Teams meeting earlier today. We are being pulled in so many directions with not much guidance. I agree it does make you rethink your priorities, all the money in the world will not buy you any more time. If I could I would retire today and not deal with all of this s**t.

I didn't get my walk in yesterday, but I actually slept well last night. No cat wake-up calls.

Accountability wasn't the greatest, but today is a new day.

Have a great Friday eve everyone!

I have a 2 SUV's, Grey and Charcoal Black. Your Meme made me laugh. I guess as a woman, I didn't even think of that!

Trying to stay on track so I had two protein pancakes for breakfast, I will be having a salad and then we will be grilling on the grill tonight since the weather has been nice, we will be eating out on the patio.

My exercising has not been that great but working on it. It has just been too dang hot during the day and that is the only time I can do something when I am not working.

I hope you all have a wonderful day!
