Good morning Trish and Menuers.
Happy Birthday Trish. Sounds like you have a good day in front of you. Do not beat yourself up over a couple calories today Just enjoy the day. You deserve it.
I am so glad it is Friday. I will be able to go visit the Babies tomorrow. They named the Girls Eliza Frances Clark and Mia Lucrezia Clark. I am loving the names and they are perfect. Both over 5lbs and 18". We will wear our mask and only eyeball the babies but we want to drop off food to get them through the weekend. I also ordered a Plan from Hello Fresh that should get them through I think it is 3 days. So hopefully that will help.
I also got a hand written note from my hernia surgeon yesterday. That never happens but he just wanted to say he was so proud of my continued success and to thank me for the cookies. Now you know why he was the only one I wanted to do my hernia + he is the only one who does an old technique that does not involve mesh.
QOTD: I never thought about it but I guess my 30's. I was single going into it and I didn't think I would find my one true love. When I was growing up anytime someone got married all the Aunts on my dads side would pitch in and get the bride to be their Kitchen Aid Mixer. As I wa****ting my 30's a lot of my Great Aunts were passing on. One day I was just crying and Dad was like what is the matter. I said I'm never going to get my Kitchen Aid mixer. Just being a blubbering fool. I said I'll never find a man who will put up with me. Seeing how upset I was for Christmas that year he got me the 8 quart professional Kitchen Aid mixer. I think I wanted the mixer more than a man. But on my 36 birthday I did find my one true love and the Kitchen is still one of my most cherished and used gifts I have ever received.
