What's on your Thursday Menu?

Good morning, everybody!

I have a dentist appointment this afternoon. It's make-up from March 17th. I suspect that they will schedule when I will get the implant for the tooth that they pulled a couple of weeks ago. I'm kind of glad to go and get it out of the way.

My oldest son is getting his wisdom teeth out today, poor guy. At least he should be fully healed for when he goes to college in about 10 days.

I may try and take a nap today. I don't know if it's the cooler weather, but I have been tired all week.

QOTD: At this point its mixed in the suburbs and remote in the city. They also pushed our start date back a week for no apparent reason. I suspect that it is still subject to change.

Julia - happy early birthday! 46? Girl, you look like you are in your mid thirties! What's your secret? Have a great time with your family, sounds like a great weekend ahead.

You might be getting tired of my stories about DS and his dorm necessities but I need to put this out there. Yesterday I drove about 100 miles, round trip, in order to find Clorox wipes. Nothing! And it's a must on the dorm list. I can't find it online either. So if any of you guys come across Clorox wipes I'm willing to pay top dollars for it, except for the one on eBay that wants to charge $46 + $20 shipping!

QOTD: our district is doing distance learning for the fall semester. Remember my friend who is a kindergarten reacher in another district? She still doesn't know the plans but in the mean time she has been creating an avatar of herself and a classroom - I think it's a special program on Microsoft - in order to be able to teach her kindergarten class and the kids can be engaged with a cartoon version of her. I know she was going in yesterday for kids initial assessments and she was nervous about having to meet and interact with so many people.

My meals yesterday:

• B: Protein coffee
• L: Costco egg bites
• S: PP SF pudding
• D: chicken skewers + Fage yogurt
• E: 4.1 miles uphill wog (my gluteus are very sore)

Clorox wipes have been gone since March and will not be on the shelves until sometime next year.

We have one container for DS. DD tried to claim them, so Marilyn has them in hiding now.

It's worth its weight in gold, apparently. Good for her for hiding it.

I don't think Clorox wipes even exist in stores right now, based on what I have read...

Yeah, I read the interview with the CEO that they don't have all the ingredients at hand to make them and it will be like this till 2021. But here and there you see some lonely sightings.
I wonder then why the college is making it "a must" on the list. Somebody on the college fb said she was gifted a tub and she couldn't be happier.

I would think that paper towels and spray disinfectant could be a valid substitute.

True, that would be our last resort.

Amazon Fresh periodically gets them back in stock. So when I wake up for no reason at like 4 am I will check, and if they are, I make a $35 order of 2 canisters plus some food items :)
