Good morning, everybody!
DD's boyfriend is coming to stay with us for a few days. Me and the boys have met him, but this will be Marilyn's first time. I got to meet him when I was at Baylor last fall. I think that she will like him. I may go to the airport with my daughter to pick him up this afternoon.
I have a bunch of trainings, on various topics, at work that I am going through. They are pretty easy. I did fall asleep a couple of times during yesterday's training since I took it while laying on the couch.
QOTD: Maybe the charm that Hermione did that allowed her to go to two classes at the same time.
Breakfast: Protein bar
Lunch: steak
Snack: nuts
Dinner:TBD
Have a great day, all!

Mornin' All!
DH proposed last night that we go to a coffee/bagel place this morning where he could work and I could do whatever, but it's 59 degrees out there now - and won't get out of the 60s until this afternoon (topping out at like 71 again), so....I don't think so. I refuse to sit inside places, and it's too cold to sit outside. I'll probably go out and get some exercise since it's perfect weather for walking or biking. Plus I'm physically feeling the stress again (this has become commonplace since this pandemic started), so I need to move.
QOTD: I would make losing and maintaining weight effortless. It's so frustrating to really try and have a measly one or two pound loss (if anything!). ARRGGGHH! Well, this is life now..

D: one Costco chicken skewer, ear of corn (elote style), and a small salad with light dressing
have a great day, everyone!!

I seriously can't remember what the 60s feel like. I don't thin it has dropped below 71degrees even at night in weeks... Enjoy it!

Good Morning JB and Menuers,
Sounds like your Monday was better than expected. I hope your new assistant works out. Sounds like so far so good but keeping fingers crossed it stays that way.
I been helping out here at work processing other sales peoples orders because we have a bunch of people out on vacation. This makes me very busy so I been trying to come in earlier and get my run in earlier. But the last 2 days the early run has been dark. It looks like the fall is on it's way. I wear bright orange so I'm not worried about a car hitting me but it is a little strange for the first 15 minutes till the sun comes up. I been committed to the running thing and I need to be since I can not stop snacking.
I still have the rental that Ford is paying for and I still have not heard from them about a true diagnosis of what is the matter with my car. I am guessing it's just a waiting game and since they are paying for the rental I really do not need to be in a hurry to get it fixed.
Zucchini are on the rise in the garden. I have been bombarded and fortunately there are many people that don't mind a free zucchini ever so often. I been putting them in slices and I put a meat sauce, mozzarella, parmesan, and some mini peperoni and bake them for about 30 minutes to make zucchini pizza bites. DH and I are loving them health and yummy.
QOTD: I would like to get my exercise in while sleeping . But I also would love to fly. Maybe like the flying nun if any of you are old enough to remember but if I have to use a broom no one would be surprised.
Accountability: Snacking has been happening. Last night it was pork rinds and Hell of a good nacho dip. I think I ate some peanuts and pizzellas too. ugh.

Yum those look great...what a good idea! I loved the Flying Nun :)
Good morning! Last night was the last in the campground for this trip, so we helped clean up by eating left overs and finishing the open wine. I did end up dumping out several ounces. A few was more than enough last night to enjoy around the fire. We sat around with friends of my husband's that arrived at the park yesterday. Really nice with lots of airy air around us. Today I have a tele-visit with my WLS surgeon, about 40 quotes due and I need to be really on getting my desk ready as I am off Thursday and Friday. We are flying to Kansas City MO to attend a wedding that has already been postponed. It was supposed to be in Ensenada, MX, which is just a couple hour drive for us. I really DO NOT want to go. Hot, muggy and masked. Sounds like the ground work for a murder charge against me, but I am going. Maybe I can find a little bit of good bbq while I am there. I like sweet, brown sugar based bbq, and it's not too common around here. Everything around here is vinegar based. Packing should be easy at least. I've got a new dress for the wedding and I'm pretty certain you can roll it in a ball and it wouldn't wrinkle. Couple of capri's and t shirts and I'm good to go.
QOTD: modified agreement on teleportation. I always feel like the way to somewhere is part of the excitement. But on the way home, I want to do an I Dream of Jeannie blink and just be home.
Menu: mostly leftovers
B: coffee and 1/2 PP shake to start. 1/2 oz jerkey, 1/2 oz avo and 1/2 crispbread mid morning
L: eating those bacon wrapped chicken tenders from yesterday. Remembered that I had 1/2 a bunless burger in the fridge here at work, so I ate that. Adding tomatoes today
D: something with the roasted chicken. Maybe chicken tacos for the hubs, chicken salad for me, small side of refried beans
Peace Everybody!
