What's on your Monday Menu?

LOL! I don't own a tortilla press, so I will be rolling them out by hand using a rolling pin. This is a skill that takes years of practice, it's an art! So my tortillas may end up being in the shape of Texas or Florida. Delicious, but...not round.

Let it begin with me.

I am betting you can Mimic a tortilla press by putting under wax paper and smashing with a frying pan. Just using the rolling pin to get them thinner if need be. Post a picture I would love to see the results.

Happy Monday! It is warm and windy today with the tropical storm coming north. I guess we may have showers tomorrow but no big deal. The wind feels good with the warm tropical air. Maybe I am in Aruba after all, LOL.

My weight is back in range thank goodness after a couple of days above. WAY TOO MUCH eating and drinking last week. I am going out to lunch today but have already planned what I am eating. Later in the week I am visiting friends in NH so I'm not sure what will be on the menus then.

QOTD: Probably teal and a coordinating green. But because I wear a LOT of Lilly Pulitzer clothing, raspberry usually gets mixed in a lot too.

TSS: 4 years, 4 months

B: Coffee! WW zero point egg and banana pancake

L: crab cake and greens (out to lunch)

D: Leftover ahi tuna and veggies

S:bean salad and/or strawberry cheesecake yogurt pie and/or WW one point muffin

Good morning menu friends.

I slept better last night than I have in a while. Not great but better! I think the antibiotic I'm taking isn't agreeing with me all to well. It's upsetting my stomach and I'm also having hot flashes. Yay!? Lol. Good news is for about 16 hours my back hasn't leaked. :::knocks on wood::: Sooooo the antibiotics IS helping that. I see my neurosurgeon this afternoon so we'll see what all he thinks. It still hurts but is getting better and better. Having a lot of lower leg cramps but I can deal with them.

other than the doctors appointment I have no idea what today holds. We might go to sams to get some hin****er(it's a $1 off right now). Hoping not to much is going on.

other good news is I've almost lost the 4/5 pounds I gained during the surgery stuff. Yay!

food yesterday was bad but could of been worse.

b:oatmeal with banana

s:???

l:oatmeal with ??? Thinking cacao powder

s:low carb tortilla and 1 oz lunch meat

d:mini egg white quiches

Mornin' All!

it's only supposed to get up to 71 today - and is in the 60s now - wow! All that rain we had yesterday really cooled things down! (and it wasn't super hot to begin with last week - low 80s, maybe). It's supposed to be in the 70s all week, which is my FAVORITE temperature range! Should be great for biking and walking!

I seem to have a lot of social engagements this week - luckily, mostly coffee dates since I'm really going to try to stay on plan all week because Friday is my 60th birthday, so it'll probably be a blow out. Should be OK as long I do well the rest of the week.

QOTD: hmmmm....never thought of this. Teal is my favorite color, although I don't necessarily have a specific color I pair it with. I guess in the summer I usually wear white pants with it. I also have this seafoam green short-sleeved shirt I wear a lot in the summer which I usually pair with royal blue capris....or white ones. I have a TON of winter tops and sweaters that are burgundy - I wear black or gray leggings with those. Or jeans.

TSS: 5 y 2 m today!

B: lemon/blueberry yogurt pie with 2 T light Cool Whip, coffee with half & half

MS: Fit Frappe (I love, love, love the chai latte flavor - it arrived on Saturday...)

L: Costco chicken skewer with either a regular salad (light dressing) or a Capri salad (got some basil yesterday from a neighbor)

AS: L&F yogurt with raspberries, light English muffin or skinny bagel with light cream cheese

D: hmmmm.....either a chicken wrap in a low carb lavash, or an Asian-flavored vegan burger in a skinny bun. If I have the calories, then maybe 1/2 C of three-bean salad, too.

have a great day, everyone!

btw - JB - didn't know you were planning to go to the grad school! Are you thinking this fall?

Happy Birthday week! Yea, teal with white is great. I wasn't thinking of white as a "color" when I gave my answer.
