What's on your Wednesday Menu?

Happy Hump Day! How is it not Friday already, though? Yesterday was long and annoying AF all around. I kept trying to "leave work" but kept getting pulled into something else. Hoping today is a lot quieter with fewer ranting principals. I mean TBH, I can't blame any of them for their stress levels being through the roof, but sometimes I wish we had a staff therapist on call instead of just me.
9 days down on my 100 challenge. I switched few things out yesterday because I was super busy and didn't have time for a "real" lunch, but I ended the day on plan with 23 points and 8429 steps.
QOTD: If you had to choose between only eating very bland food or very spicy food for the rest of your life, which would you choose? I'd go with spicy! I'd probably be thinner if I stuck with the bland and uninteresting, haha, but I love spicy food--especially the flavors in really spicy Ethiopian, Indian, and Thai foods.

Morning and happy hump day! 50% through this long ass week for me and I'm ready for the end tomorrow! Virtual retirement party for a colleague that is retiring this afternoon so that will be interesting, also 3 back to back interviews for a project manager position so that's half the day right there!
qotd - spicy, definitely!
i think my menu today will be
coffee and half and half x3
ever roast deli chicken and slice cheese
carbmaster cin raisin cottage cheese
jalapeno cheddar buffalo sausage
l&f or yasso bar
oh, my nutrition action newsletter did a review of "light/keto/dairy free" ice creams and gave a "better bite" rating to the Fairlife ice creams -- I've seen them but haven't tried them. Apparently they taste creamy and have a good protein to low sugar/lowish calories ratio.

Morning! You know it's been hot and humid when you wake up on a non-walk day and are sad it's not a day to walk because it stormed all night and is only 70 degrees out there. Between the storms and my husband and kid playing video games until midnight, I feel like I didn't get the best night of sleep. There is much drama surrounding our student's return in less than a week which has created a lot of work to be done!
QOTD: Spicy for sure. Give me all the spicy things! I honestly think it would be the opposite re: weight loss for me. Because, although I love spicy stuff, I eventually get sick of eating it and give up. I'd probably eat saltines and mashed potatoes to oblivion - not that I love them, but white bland foods are super easy to over eat!
My Food:
- Coffee w/ Cream x3
- Eggs, Sausage, Sweet Potato
- I have Brussels with bacon to cook, but I'm not sure yet what protein we'll be having

Are all of the students returning? Around here it seems like schools are only inviting back certain years or certain departments, not full campuses for the most part...

Good morning everyone.
Hoping you are all well.
I have a zoom meeting this morning with my psychologist so I think that'll be good. I'm feeling very much blah. Not motivated to do anything even if I could. My back is feeling better everyday but it is still draining which is frustrating me. My mom is keeping an eye on it and no fever so there's that.
qotd:as someone who can't even eat much salt or pepper at the moment I would say SPICY! I'm so tired of bland. I miss Mexican food....Thai foood....soooo much! It doesn't have to be unhealthy either so I truly miss it!
food is kind of up in the air. Probably oatmeal for breakfast and lunch and maybe fish or chicken soup.
Mel
Glad to hear that your back is starting to feel better.

JB, I had your tuna burger yesterday. Fantastic! I added dill and had it with broccoli and my yogurt/lemon/dill sauce. I may eat the other one today!
Today is another beach day with visiting family. High SPF needed as I was at the beach essentially all day yesterday.
QOTD: Probably spicy, but hopefully not too spicy. I would gain on bland food if it was sweet, but I think I'd do better and probably enjoy spicy food better.
