Foods you cannot eat after RNY?

All of tht ends. I have seen a post RNY person eat a huge sub sandwich and fini**** off with a full pizza and washed it all down with several quarts of coca cola. He was also back up to 700 pounds. The doctors said his pouch was as tight and intact as a new surgery.

Once you learn to eat around your surgery, the weight returns. I have only managed to retain most of my weight loss by carefully tracking what I eat, exercising and weighing daily.

By ten years after surgery, I could eat as much as I did before surgery. I can gain very easily and have to fight hard to lose it again.

This is so good to know..does this apply to VSG also, that you can gain it back if not sticking to the original plan? I hear there are taste changes that can happen...are they drastic?

Thanks!

I agree with White Dove. I can eat all of that - and a lot of it, unfortunately. I can also guzzle fluids with no problem.

Depends. I can't eat dairy anymore. Otherwise no real intolerances.

Very fatty foods are hard on my stomach but I've had that problem before the MGB/RNY.
