Good Morning JB and Menuers,
Today has started out good. I have my run in and I had a hot tub and shower already. However on a bad note I spilled my Miralax and over filled my coffee. At least I have the day off.
Next I am going to organize my shopping list so I can start baking and cooking for the picnic . Looking ar 3 kinds of cookies , caramel covered cheese balls and 4 side dishes. Cheesy Grits ,7 layer salad. Ya ya rice, and mock potato salad. My DB will marinate the meat and grill Shish kabob while we are there.
QOTD:My style of cleaning is obsessive compulsive. I have a house keeper and I clean before and after she is here and she dies do a great job. My DH is a clutter bug but I can get him to help with big jobs like washing walls and cleaning windows.
Accountability. I grazed dinner last night and ate nuts and a Protien bar.

I'm back! I've been MIA since Saturday when we found out hubby had been working with a volunteer at the warehouse who had tested positive for coronavirus. She had no symptoms but was tested by her other job when a coworker was positive. We both went to be tested at the health department but results take 4 to 6 days to get there. Of course the son was supposed to have ACL repair Wednesday and needed a caregiver and driver so we decided I would come home early as the only contact I had was.through Chuck. He stayed up there in the camper. As a rule I don't do well with medical procedures on family ,even though I used to be a respiratory therapist. But I did fine and so did he. They removed the cyst that had formed and because of severe scarring (since the injury happened over a year ago) they used an allograft instead of repairing his own. In other words they implanted an ACL from a tissue donor who had died. The doctor had expected that and had the graft there and ready. Interestingly the graft has an ID number which he was given and a web address where he can write a thank you to the anonymous donor family. The company then passes the note along. The surgery was outpatient and we were home by 1. He has a huge brace which at this point is locked so he can't bend it. He is allowed to put weight on it as tolerated. Good news is hubby and I got our test results and both of us were negative. Hubby came home after he got the results to help with Sam. He's doing fine and doctor said most likely he can go back to light duty work after he sees him on the 30th. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise and weight is 120.6. Here's the food plan B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 3/4 cup cauliflower parmesan soup D 4 oz ground beef with cheese. Pics are sights from our walks this last week and the pile of brush son and I cleared from the back yard Tuesday. Have a great day full of healthy choices and stay safe everyone!
I am so glad you were both negative. My DS has a friend who found out a co-worker is positive. DS' friend took the test 5 days ago and we are all waiting for the results. If the friend is in the clear, DS is fine but if not he will need to be tested and then DSD and I are possibly at risk. DS only saw his friend for a few minutes and has been quarantining as much as possible so hopefully we are all okay but...
