I need to post from my phone so very short for now.

I miss my gardens at our old house but I've made a great container garden on the porch of our condo. First tomato...an Early Girl and yum!

More hot and humid here. Yes it's July but too miserable without AC.

Food? I'm working on "clearing out" what the extra fiber and miralax haven't fixed. Lots of fluids and small amounts of bland and gentle foods.

In excellent news, my COVID-19 test was negative!!! We're guessing that my fever, headaches and chest congestion were related to allergies and asthma.

Gotta run (OMG I wish I could). Take care and be safe?

What a beauty of a tomato and so glad your test was negative.

Good morning, and Happy Friday!

QOTD - my husband and I are well matched thankfully. We have four dogs, a 100 year old house and wood floors so we have to stay on top of things. I think we pick up for each other's slack which helps. For example yesterday, I was wiped. After dinner I sat and didn't want to move. He fed the dogs, and then did the laundry and I still sat, and eventually went to bed. Today I woke up refreshed and I'll handle some of the other chores (like watering the acre we live on, which I started an hour ago!)

Breakfast - none, fasting, so hot black coffee, topo chico

Lunch - nothing coming to mind, either chickpea not tuna salad with crackers, or a sandwich, or tofu scramble

Dinner - depends on what kids ask for. I have ceased attempting to implement dinner plans because most of the time, we just decide to change it anyhow.

I hope you all have a great day!

Christina

Good morning from Mystic, CT! On the family compound, and truly having a great time. Yesterday my cousin took us out on his boat, just the four of us and it's absolutely beautiful out. The hydrangeas are in full bloom everywhere and it's green and lush here. The weather has been cooperating but I hear it is supposed to really start heating up by the end of the weekend. On today's agenda is taking a car ride with my dad and going to try to find somewhere to eat on the coast.

QOTD. We are an everything has a place and everything in its place kind of couple. I am very neat and a control freak about everything being put away and my husband is very meticulous about doing things so it makes for a perfect pairing.

Menu for the day--doing the best I can!
Peace everybody!

Good Friday morning folks.

Another long night. Weight fluctuated big time since yesterday. Up 2 pounds for some odd reason. I think I didn't drink enough fluids yesterday so I'll need to work on that today. AND my stomach is upset.

We've got a lot to do this weekend and today. Gotta get a cat pan moved. Grocery shopping, sams run, hair cut tomorrow...and more. I'm nervous about my hair but really need it done before surgery. I'm going to double up my masks and it's just a quick cut. I am going to get some more length cut off. I just don't want to have to deal with it much. I have a few pictures I found that I like. We'll see!

qotd:I tend to be somewhat messy but not to awful. I don't vacuum as often as I should but with 3 cats and two dogs I do keep up with it. My brother and sil on the other hand...soooooooooooo messy. Chaos describes how clean they are with household chores.

b:oatmeal with 1/2 a banana

l:oatmeal with flaxseed and sf syrup

d:egg with a waffle

s:almond yogurt and ???

my pics are a mix. A background I made from a picture and some older photos.

I bought a Eufy robot vac a few months ago and set it to vacuum every night at 2:00 AM. It has changed my life to wake up everyday to not dust, cat litter, or cat hair on the floors anywhere.

Then a few weeks ago, I got an iRobot that mops the floors and thought that might be a silly purchase. It actually was for the upstairs, but for the basement that I don't mop that often it found all kinds of dust in corners. My litter boxes are in the basement and it seems like that litter just jumps out of the box and get in corners and along baseboards. The pad were really dirty after I did those rooms.

I used to pull the vacuum out three or four times a week, now less than once a month and that is just when I am in the deep cleaning mode. The Eufy keeps them looking great and I cannot never believe how much cat hair it finds every night.

Good morning, everybody!

Well, my youngest son must have misunderstood the question on the AP test, let's leave it at that.

QOTD: Marilyn is much neater than I am, for the most part. She does most of the work around the house, and I work outside of the house. I know that I do little things that drive her crazy, like leaving the rain covers up on the garage door keypads. Unfortunately, many of the things that I do, seem to have been inherited by my sons.

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese

Snack: Protein bar

Lunch: Hello Fresh

Snack: nuts

Dinner: TBD

Have a great day, all.
