I remember all the technology challenges when the kids were doing the AP tests, as if that wasn't already stressful. I hope there are no issues with the scores and they all pass!

Good Morning JB and Menuers,
I am happy to say my dental appointment went well. This is the first new dentist in at least 10 years and going somewhere new for me is always nerve racking. I don't know why I get anxious when I have to go to a new anything. I am glad it's over and happy with the way my teeth were cleaned.
The Hygienist commented on the perfume I had on. Thanks to Mike Introducing us to the Anecdote line of fragrances I was wearing Carnival day. I have been able to find this in all of our local Walmart's so I have bought 3 bottles of the ones I liked the most. I pointed her over there and she may be a customer soon.
QOTD: I try to be conscious of what I purchase. However I do not do tons of research to avoid making the mistake of purchasing from a company I am not in line with there beliefs. If I know I will avoid it. Also I am a buy local kinda gal. If it is local I try to spend money there before going to Amazon or Walmart.
Accountability: I snacked on some dill pickle flavored Popcorn. And I switched out dinner yesterday and had 2 Wonton Pizza cups and Pea salad.

I really need to go grocery shopping also...
QOTD: yes and no
Mornin All!
they're calling for thunderstorms off and on all day (and we had some doozies last night), so I guess I'll be staying in. I have online Mah Jongg at 9:30, and nothing after that. I may watch a movie or do some reading (I could do some cleaning - but I have no motivation to do anything like that...and haven't in awhile - which is why I need to do it!)
accountability was great yesterday up until last night, when I made baklava using this sugar free syrup I found at a Middle Eastern grocery. Pistachios. Way too many. Three or four handfuls of them. I'm sure I was easily at 2000 kcal (if not more). Ugh. Scale was fine this morning - so maybe I'll be OK - but then, sometimes it's not until the second day after a disaster that the consequences show up. I did take a 90-minute bike ride yesterday, whi*****luded some challenging hills - but it wasn't enough to deal with that major slip-up. So I will be SUPER compliant the next few days (esp since we're in for crappy weather, so I'm not sure how much outdoor exercise I'll be able to get in - and I'm afraid to go to the gym again since our virus numbers have crept up lately...)
QOTD: usually. If I can. Sometimes I'm kind of forced to, though. Like if our local hardware store doesn't have something we need, we'll end up having to go to Home Depot. But we try. I'm not sure if it does any good, but it makes ME feel better..
TSS: 5+ y
B: something light since I'm still full from the pistachios I had last night. Maybe just some Greek yogurt.
MS: I'll make an Unjury chicken broth protein "shake" and add some turkey stock to it, since I have an opened container of it in the fridge that I need to use up pretty quickly. Plus icky rainy days and warm chicken/turkey "soup" go together well!
L: a couple of Costco chicken skewers and 1/2 C Asian-style cole slaw or bean salad
AS: L&F yogurt with raspberries - or lime yogurt pie
D: ?? Maybe a vegan burger on a slim bun with some vegetables
have a great day, everyone!
I have found that I am a second day girl when I eat more than I should.
